I'm aware that people are interested in this. The only problem is that my life got pretty busy since Feb 2022...

Totally understand how that goes! Hope its all good things coming at you, and not a "problem" at all.  I really appreciate all the work you've put in it already!

Hey everyone,

I just found this asset pack and wanted to say that it looks amazing!
I'm a 3D artist myself (for way too long, haha). Seeing as your busy with real-life stuff. Feel free to reach out if you need some help with updating things or looking into fixes. So you only really need to do a final QA check and integration. The only down side is that I don't have 3D Max (I used it a lot in the past though). Currently I am switching from Modo to Blender.

Regards,
Robert

Not sure if version with grass was ever made but I made something interesting.

At this moment I can't upload it. I need a permission from author and also author of textures I used.

So I have been trying to duplicate this trick for some of the other assets for use on the Cold War Germany map.

The problem is while I understand each object uses different files for different areas…I don’t know where to find the information for what file goes to what area…

is this something that can be seen in model viewer or what?

Hi,

You'll need to launch the "modelviewer2.exe" in the BIN- MT directory. And then loading the object you want to explore in detail and find which texture goes on which part of it

Hi there, I noticed with some of the tank revetments now, certain tanks can't shoot from them, and enemy tanks can't see the tanks that are shooting at them, making the tanks behind the revetments invincible. I've attached a test mission illustrating this, was that by design or just a product of DCS AI? It's a bit game breaking unfortunately.

Hello,
I'm a huge of the F-4E Phantom II on the Kola Peninsula and Cold War Germany boards.
But the SAMPack_S-300_Series module doesn't work on the latest DCS version 2.9.17.12034. The main launch video/graphic interface is displayed but the DCS World application launch aborts every time as I can see on the Detailed List [Details tab ] of the Windows 10 Task Manager.
Can you fix and update the SAMPack_S-300_Series module to make it compatible with the latest DCS version 2.9.17.12034?
Many thanks in advance.
This would allow me to run some F-4E missions that require the “SAM Pack” module founded on the “User Files” directory of the DCS site. “SAM Pack” is the name of the plugin designated at launch in the ‘entry.lua’ file in the ‘SAMPack_S-300_Series’ folder.
See you soon.

Hi Max,

I know that the mod has been broken by the last updates. Unfortunately, I don't have the time right now to take a look at it due to real life commitments. I hope I might be able to go back to it someday, but I can't give you a solid date as to when this would happen.

Sorry.
