According to the NATOPS, LATLN DCML should only be the default cold start format on OFPs after 20X (24.2.5.1 on waypoint programming and 24.2.5.6 on A/C data programming).
Why is this an issue? We clearly don't have a specific OFP as ED has been taking things from many different ones despite claiming they don't want a "franken Hornet."

Our Hornet is the second to last charlie model produced and would have the most modern implementation of the systems. By the -000 this change is for OFP 20X and up, so this should be correct.

Honestly it's just something I noticed while reading the manual. I've seen in the past Wags state that the DCS Hornet is primarily based on 13C, with others stating it has some additions to make it compatible with mid-2000s ordnance. If they want to leave it as-is that's fine, as it would be currently correct for OFPs after 20X.

Sure, the initial statement was for OFP 13C, what we have seems to be 15C and up, with features and weapons from much higher OFPs.

While at times we need to use other version to fill in the gaps, it doesn't mean its our intention to, but need to for a complete a module as possible, the other option is to leave large missing pieces. SO yes, the goal is and always to keep it as far from a 'frankenhornet' as possible.
