MODS I can not live without that need to be OFFICIAL

I honestly think that there are a lot of crazy good Mod Makers and I just can Not live without the above Mods. I would love to make some missions that use them but I don't because I do not know it people would download and use the Missions that use Mods. Do You make missions with the above Mods? 

I wish ED would make each of the above Official Mission Editor Free Addons. Bla Bla Bla all the Problems that it would take. I love them and can not live without them. 

IF you know nothing about Mods or What the Above Mods can offer, Please take time to look at both of them.

I would like to ask the Question would You ever download a Mission that required one of the above Mods? If you do not have one installed would you install one for a Mission?

Simply put YES! 

Why not? I use a mod manager, even for saved games mods.

No, as I don’t have all of those mods.

If I have it on my Mod collection, yes, I would enable it. If I don’t have it, I probably wouldn’t go to the extent of searching for it and learn its use, just to fly a mission.

For a single mission, without any particular relevant context, I probably won't on the hunt for a certain mod. However, sometimes I stumble about stunningly impressive mods, either through a video or a thread in the forum or a recommendation and I'm not reluctant to download and use mods (with OvGME).

If the mods where simple to use(the infantry in huey looks fantastic) yes, but I'm not gonna go and edit text documents all the time for some special stuff.

There are a lot of incredible mods, from the "small ones" like better smoke or better trees from @Taz1004, to all the amazing civilians vehicles, planes, ships, infantry... etc (BTW: the ones from @8 Ball are AMAZING!!)
People are really making an outstanding job and it's such a pity that after some DCS update, they have problems or don't work at all. I would love that DCS would be more "friendly" with the mods.  

But my opinion it should not discoraged you from use them! In fact your coast guard mission looks AWESOME with the mod! and it proves that the mods could add a new dimension and give much more deep to a mission!

+1. It would be great if there was a pathway where the most popular mods could be considered (whether it be in a competition or otherwise as I think has been done with liveries before), where they would then be considered being placed into the CORE part of DCS. I think this would be a fantastic way of users being able to contribute and ED (as well as it's customers) being able to benefit from generous community developers.

I believe that we need to be realistic here, every DCS asset requires occasional maintenance to keep up with the continuous evolution of DCS, these maintenance tasks require man-hours and would increase whenever new assets are added to the core, thus increasing ED costs.

Also, some aircraft Mods are of such good quality (like the A-4E, the UH-60L, the Anubis Hercules, the T-45C) that if kept free they would take-away from the sale numbers of paid modules, and if transformed into paid Modules it would be a loss to those users that can’t afford paid modules and opt to fly User Mods.

Bottom line, I actually prefer to keep the user’s Mods within their respective developer’s control and keep ED out of them.

Recently I've had problems with the attachments mod. Gun was floating. Can't recall exactly, some weeks ago already. Was there an update on the mod?

I had that happen and I just reinstalled it and it worked fine.
