Really being selfish here since we just got the OH-6, but we need the second element of Darkhorse.  The Apache is to Posh.  After flying and loving the OH-6 mod, I cannot wait to get your Cobra in the fight.  To say these two will complement each other is an understatement.  The OH crew did a fantastic job with the ability to drop smoke and mark targets.  We will have a true Hunter Killer opportunity when you release the OG Gunship.  Thank you for all the hard work and doing this for the community.  Your time will be well spent when we all start flying her!  Anymore videos would be a great tease.

And, like the rest of us, a brand new OH-6 to fly around in 😄.

I fly props mostly but I’m currently doing frenzied pirouettes trying to tame the OH-6 and I’m loving it. This Cobra looks great, I’ll definitely be needing one of these 🙂. I’m ok with waiting the proverbial fortnight for it though as I really need some more heli training under my belt. Landings for now are at best controlled crashes, so not a pretty sight.

Well done on all the work you’ve put into this, it’s looking worth it. If it flies half as good as it looks already I’m sure it’ll be great. Keep it up.

Yeah, I’ll volunteer for testing VR too.

I don’t own a headset, computer wouldn’t cope and I suffer with dizzy spells but bugger all that. I’ve a keen imagination and promise to sit with my nose planted to the screen. Oh, and I can barely fly helis yet. 

Where do I sign? 😄

I cant remember, Ive seen a few videos or articles not made by you which made me assume you have some beta testers out there trying it out?Cant remember off the top of my head where I got my info, maybe my memory is failing me...which could be true by the way...but Im fairly certain Ive seen a few other people posting about it elsewhere.

@ViolentNomad She's looking great. We appreciate the love going into this. 

A note to the potential testers. It's more than just flying it around and being the first to have it.

True testing involves knowing the full procedures and noting what works (or doesnt) with various combos and situations. And some reversion testing to ensure it doesnt break other parts of the sim.

@Devil 505 You guys need another OV-10 pilot?  Hands down my fav bird and would love to join in destruction.

@ST0RM know what is about real testing. 

Just having VR don't help much on real testing schedule, First you need to be familiar with the airframe and provide actual feedback that is relevant. And another important skill is knowing some of DCS modding regime, to not ask silly things, you know modding is prettymuch limited compared to a Full Fidelity Module, due to the lack of documentation, rudimentary approaches and lots of workaround to make simple things work.

This are some of the reasons why It takes so long and a huge amount of work to put something into DCS.
