please attach dcs.log,

As I have not been able to re-produce this bug, but in the past w/ other aircraft it was linked to either Fonts/Windows Scaling, or Windows Username containing special characters.

Hello everyone
First of all, many thanks for the absolutely brilliant mod of the FA-18 Superbug. I LOVE it.
I have a question though, which might be in the wrong place, so please just point it out if it is.

To make the Superbug work with my WinWing MIP (UFC) - which works great by the way - I use the “Universal UFC”. Unfortunately, I installed both mods at the same time and now have an incorrect display of the UFC within DCS in the original FA-18C. It seems as if the Superbug UFC is displayed instead of the 18C UFC.
I have installed the Superbug, as described, only in the “Save Games” folder and have not overwritten or replaced any original files of the 18C.

Basically it's not bad, just doesn't look right and confuses some people in our squadron with split screen.

Unfortunately I don't have a screenshot, but I can provide one if desired.

Maybe someone can help me - would be really nice.

Hello thank you for this great mod! i enjoy it while playing in VR, i have some overlaps with texture on the nose and canopy side with the wings :

will this be fixed in the future? thanks

if you dont want to wait for hotfix and have black legacy UFCD.

Open \Saved Games\DCS\mods\Aircraft\CJS Super Hornet\Liveries\FA-18C Cockpit\Default\description.lua in notepad++

rem out the 6 lines involving the cpt4 texture. (add a -- to the beginning of the line, it should turn the line green).

Then delete the 3 cpt4 texture files.

Sorry, not at home at the moment. so folder and file names may differ.

They were left over from before I replaced the UFCD screen mesh and moved the display elements. (edited)

1 if i return to legacy the UFC hasn't changed back to original...is this ok or normal?

2 How do i add kneeboards?.......stupid question i know lol

Just check the "User files" in the Downloads section of the DCS website. You can find all updated skins for v2.4 there.

User files servers are such garbage that it takes an hour to download a 300mb skin, vs 30 minutes for the entire pack from Megaupload if the Discord links were working.

The skins on MEGA are all outdated and don't fit the latest version of the mod due changes of the 3D model. At the moment it doesn't exist a skin package with all the latest liveries. We all have to download them from User files at the moment:

And by the way, no one of them has a size of 300 MB.

Would be nice if the liveries had some consistency in deployments, or got rid of the ship names on the fuselage entirely. Impossible to make a coherent deck. CVW-3 has liveries scattered across Truman and Ike. CVW-1 liveries scattered across Truman, Roosevelt, and Enterprise. CVW-7 scattered across Truman and Lincoln. CVW-2 and-8 for carriers that don't exist in the game. CVW-9 is the only one we could do with the Stennis but Stennis no longer has supercarrier deck crew.

Sixpac only spawns, apparently. Spawning on an elevator tips you over the side.

After the last update (2.4) the game crashes or does not start. I put the hole folder in my saved games folder since there is not an OVGME ready version.

Any idea?

I hope you know that these liveries are all based on real life paintings. Carrier Air Wings often switch from one carrier to another (and sometimes even from one Carrier Air Wing to another). Therefore skins of the same squadrons can carry different carrier names, depending on the time period.
