I tried moving the ship around and found out that it started to hit its target when I put it more to the west. By default, they are being placed to the "All" subcategory, and it is very boring to scroll down all of them, especially if you have a big number of assets from different developers. Thanks a lot P.S. Also, found an interesting bug - I changed Ticonderoga_CMP_LACM.lua file by hand in order to move this ship to "Cruiser" subcategory, but it persistently appears in "Submarines" one, whatever I type in GT.tags = {'...'}; section. patpatpowercat Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 @currenthill Firstly, let me say your mods are fantastic. My request is this: can we have a common folder name for the versions of your mod? My wing would love to implement several of your mods, but unfortunately the way we do so in a networked way, changing the /tech folder name each times is very difficult, as it requires us to explain that a (sometimes tech-challenged) member how to go in and delete a folder, rather than that folder being auto-updated with a new version of the same mod. Second, have you considered adding LODs to your mods? This helps quite a bit with people who don't have the greatest of machines. Anyway, your mods are fantastic, and amazing additions to the DCS community! Thank you so much for what you are doing, keep it up! 1

One could be the one your pointing to, where other mods have declared common file/names and create conflicts. But in this particular case, I did some tests and found a peculiar DCS issue. If the asset have custom sounds and also a rotating radar the sound will stay at the coordinate it was spawn at. So the sound seem fine (like when I test it), but when I drive from the spawn point, the sound won't follow the asset. So if I go back to the spawn point, the sound is there. It gets stuck at one point in the 3d space. Very strange. I will do more testing. In the latest version of the Pantsir I implemented custom vehicle sounds for it, to replace the old generic vehicle sound that you get as standard. If you listen to the vehicle sounds between 1.4.0 and 1.5.0 there is an enormous difference in quality. And I definitely want to keep the more advanced vehicle sound, but there seem to be some sort of issue ONLY related to assets that uses the radar rotation function. So I'm trying to figure out how to solve this. I've tried everything but can't find a solution for this issue. The only DCS core asset utilizing this combination of features (updated vehicle sounds together with a rotating radar) is the Tunguska. I tried replicating every detail of that setup, but something is still different since I get the sound issue. Maybe it's something we can't access with a mod? Who knows. I've mentioned it a fair number of times in the thread. You should always configure one fire mission/shell/missile per line. Set the count = 1 and close lines to define more targets. There is nothing I can do to fix this DCS issue. In the Combined Arms (DCS 2.8 Stable ver.), when you control the Pantsir S1 or S2, the missile guidance does not work - 3 seconds after the launch, the missile explodes (Pantsir ver. 1.5.0).
