No problem. Since I now have my country packs I will make all kind of changes per pack before releasing. It will be a combination of fixes, new assets, changes etc with every country pack release.

For example, here is the current state of the ongoing changelog for the Military Asset Pack Ukraine:

  • Added MiG-29MU2 removable pylons
  • Added Su-27P1M (JDAM-ER/AGM-88/ADM-160B)

Did you use the updated weapons script on the Jas39 forum page? Or from the discord Currenhill posted. Its on the last page of the forum. I have the Jas39 and all currenthill mods without issue.

I don't see the issue. I was able to search, track and fire a missile at the Tu-95MSM from a Su-27 without any issues.

a) I can only speak for my assets and their weapons. I can get all my missiles and guided bombs to work in 2.9 (disclaimer: as far as I'm aware of). I just fixed the CJ-10, 3M14T, 9M729 and the SPEAR 5 LACM. But I still have to release the updated packs with these last cruise missile fixes. 

b) Yep, works fine. 👍🏻

the SPEAR 5 AShMs work really well

their pitch-up moment is kind of perfectly timed for when CIWS starts firing at it so it dodges all of that and hits the ship

Atleast for me, OvGME doesn't see the large Asset Packs (China, Russia, Sweden and US) as valid mod zip files, is this happening to anyone else? Germany, Iran, Turkey, UK and Ukraine where recognized normally just by dropping in to the OvGME mod folder...

Yep, that's a known error which we discovered a couple of pages back in this thread. It turned out that OvGME doesn't handle files over around 4 GB, i.e it won't recognize it as a valid mod package. The solution/workaround is to unzip the main folder in the zip and it'll work fine.

Thanks, yep, since it's a modern/futuristic missile I made it harder to hit in the final maneuver. Modern antiship missiles have evasive maneuvers built-in, but since there aren't any way to implement those in DCS I have to create these kind of workarounds/emulations of the actual thing. 👍🏻

Very nice. Also, it will be great to see MiG-29's intake shields opening animation implemented. For now, they stay closed after takeoff.

time to put in a suggestion. I was thinking maybe some more Russian artillery? I think one you could do would be the Russian Tornado-S, similar to HIMARS. One of the variants is based of the Smerch MLRS already in game, so possible reusable asset there. Other variants too, such as this truck mounted version pictured here. As always just a suggestion, love ur work.

I do really like infantry details and high res textures in CH mod, but animation is soooo bad...Also there is only one  static stand up position for infantry which looks so unrealistic during combat. Are there any similar mods you guys can advice with NATO/Russia/USA infantry models with decent animation?

Hello Currenthill, noticed a bug with the KH-101 exhaust smoke. Up close it looks fine, contrails at high altitude, and less visible at lower altitudes. However, from far away, the less visible smoke becomes very thick; seems to be unintentional. This doesn't seem to be the case with other default or modded cruise missiles that I have seen. Here are too images, one zoomed out a decent distance, and another zoomed out an incredibly long distance. Note the images were taken at the same time.

@currenthill Am i doing something wrong, i deleted the old files and used the new packs from the downloads.

Ive put the folders into the Tech folder but DCS refuses to boot, i get past the Nvidea splash screen then it just returns to the desk top., if i remove the CH folders the game starts fine.

Do i need to add the sub folders (database, encyclopedia liveries etc) into the Tech folder or just the Asset pack folder as in the screenshot below becuae when i did that the entry.lua over wrote and only the last added Asset Pack was avialible in the editor.

Thanks in advance, i cant play DCS without your mods, its like going back to Lock On.

Yep, the asset pack folder with all the subfolders goes into your C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech. 

If you extract the main asset folder it should automatically create the subfolders below (Database, Shapes, Sounds etc). 

I don't quite understand how anything can be overwritten if you do it like that.

If it still doesn't work there has to be some sort of conflict going on. Check your log.

So you enter the thread of my assets and ask for advice to replace them? I suggest you ask elsewhere. 👍🏻
