Just having a question, my point is if this colaboration between ED and CH will benefit the size of the mod pack, reducing it. Thats my concern. If not is just a matter of bigger storage but working on LODs-optimizing the space with ED colaboration is a valid point. I agree that we can optimise the texture

KomandorAdam Posted Friday at 07:04 PM Posted Friday at 07:04 PM Congratulations CH hard work has been noticed. If you get an application handle from ED you could make a new interface for ships because the one from CA doesn't work well for ships. 1

GOA_Escorpion (R) Posted Friday at 08:06 PM Posted Friday at 08:06 PM Currenthill is a rich man now!!! Don't forget the poor who still have free mods hahahaha 2
Hare Ball Posted Friday at 08:46 PM Posted Friday at 08:46 PM Congratulations on this development, Currenthill - well deserved. Another question for your FAQ, when you update it next - I’m sure many of us use updated HARM/RWR files (I combine yours and Nightstorms to support a variety of mods) - will your files be updated to remain compatible with any updated core script files for these codes? Well done again and thanks for all the work you’ve done and are doing for this community 1
cao990 Posted Friday at 11:07 PM Posted Friday at 11:07 PM Congratulations on your collaboration with ED, it's great to have you on the forum. 1
AvgeekJoe Posted Friday at 11:18 PM Posted Friday at 11:18 PM Congrats @currenthill on this new assignment and set-up. Seems to be best as so many have found what I have found - that you really can't tell realistic stories outside of training ranges without your stuff at this point. Do appreciate these developments in the FAQ a lot also: Quote Q12: Will I continue to support the Currenthill mod packs? A12: Yes. I will implement a best-effort approach to keeping the Currenthill mod packs working with DCS updates. Q13: Will I remove the duplicate assets from the Currenthill mod packs? A13: Yes. I will most likely remove duplicate assets to avoid any kind of unnecessary confusion. Good to know we'll be able to keep your anti-ship missiles working alongside the new & improved stuff! Much appreciated! 2
carss Posted yesterday at 01:32 AM Posted yesterday at 01:32 AM Thank you @currenthill for such amazing work! If I may make a request, do you think you can make some country specific air and sea assets, like the KC-747 or KC-707 for Iran? Or perhaps the Embraer R-99 AEW&C for Awacs? Because I'm still stuck with 2.9.4 " Unfortunately not. The new core game Iskander will feature the first ballistic trajectory missile since the Scud. So let's call it the first core game accurate ballistic missile. It isn't based on the old way we created ballistic missile mods in DCS where the missile would go straight up and then point straight to the target without a ballistic arc. 3 _____________________________________________________________ Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill Questions about my assets - check my FAQ! James454 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) @currenthill, why don't you add the Brazil package with the Guarani, the Centauro 2, the Tamandaré frigate and the Astros rocket artillery and, as a reference, the EE-T1 Osório tank and the Tamoyo medium tank? If you can't, that's fine Edited 11 hours ago by James454 2

Rudel_chw Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Regarding: Q17: Will the new core assets have the CH prefix in the mission editor? A17: No. For consistency and ease-of-use the new core assets will be integrated with other DCS core assets. I wish ED reversed this decision, as I find it useful to easily identify the asset's origin, in the same way as was done with Massun's Assets, plus it is kind of a recognition for his efforts to add AI units to DCS. 4 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
