Thanks Currenthill for your super Mods. Concerning the Shahed, it looks like if the launching platform is a Renault truck, isn'it ? 🤔 Probably locallly built, but still bearing the Renault logo ? Maybe our French friends won't be too happy about this.... 😉  Amazing work anyway ! 👏

Since the numbers of assets I've created is starting to grow considerably, I've decided to reorganize everything for your sake and mine. 

This will be the thread where I post information about releases of new and current assets. And I'd be happy to get your feedback on them as we've done so far. I appreciate you mentioning any issues you have, or ideas or new assets to create. To avoid confusion I will be decommissioning all my other threads. 

All the assets are available in one place with information about version, download link, size, stats and changelog with just a click.

Nope. That would be like 30 GBs. 

 
It's a pity of course. will have to be pumped and assembled by hand.

Decompress zip in a folder , go to "Pantsir SPAAGM 1.1.0\Mods\tech and copy folder Pantsir SPAAGM 1.1.0 into savedgames\DCS.openbeta\mods\tech

  • Changed Shahed 136 default altitude to 2100 ft / 700 m
  • Changed Shahed 136 max range to 200 nm / 360 km
  • Changed Shahed 136 to have lower terminal velocity 
  • Changed Shahed 136 to smoother flight characteristics
  • Changed truck to lower polycount 
  • Fixed Shahed 136 crash after 82 nm issue
  • Fixed the number of simultaneous launched drones

Haha, I might have overdone it for cinematic effect.

They flame but don't really smoke that much. I'll put it on the list for the next release. 👍🏻

I want to say that the Shahed 136/Geranium 2 pairs very well with the Iron Dome and David's Sling mod.  Thank you very much.

Just a small issue with the Shahed drones, the base game AA assets aren't able to target or engage these drones even, on a bright sunny day. They also use optical sensors and targeting so they should have no issues engage a slow low flying drone like the Shahed. This is probably due to the stealth like RCS that this drone has.

IRL they are made of composite. In DCS the regular sight distance detection for a fighter is 6km but a small drone like this is less than 1km. That mean if the Shahed have 150km/h in terminal stage… AAA have only ~18sec to destroy the drone in a realistic manner. The drone is been seen recorded in a city. In open country with less people the chance to be seen is less… due the less people.

would it be possible to add russian and us subs with kalibr missiles for russian side and tomahawk missiles for us side?

or would it be possible to retexture tu-95sm/tu-160 and add some more cruise missiles?

Although big ships are cool, all these smaller assets are kinda fun tbh. Thanks for your good work CH

seems like the speed from the rocket booster decays very slowly. no idea if its realistic or not since data is so sparse from iran....
