How can I vote if the file names are different in the original post and in the poll I cannot see any images. Are they in the same order?

in the name of the png it says 1 2 3 4 etc. so the, imho,second pic most people like, is now the second from the bottom....

Yes, the order is the same like its in original post (it may be that, for example, someone's firewall at work blocks images, here are on Imgur). Dont look at the names too just order only. There is also a number next to the pictures. There was a preview under the links, but unfortunately the pictures have been removed, so they are in the post below the survey.

Voted number 2.

• 1 may as well be nevada or persian gulf - it doesn't show what the map is about.
• 3 is not clear, able to appear as simply another urban location that could even be mistaken for an area in Persian gulf.
• 4 is too "in your face" with a sole pyramid (alongside uninteresting lighting), and does not seem to capture a sense of scale for a region where pyramids feature. It could look like a scenery add on for one small region. 
• 6 is the same as 3 - I can make out a small trace of the pyramid in the backdrop I believe, but easily mistaken for another generic urban location.

This brings us to the top contenders, 2 & 5.

• 5 is "second best", I agree with the poll, but from a sales perspective this is also true. A great screenshot, but it primarily highlights architecture already found on many other maps and steals focus away from the pyramids. It wouldn't be a bad call, but for some reason seeing this screenshot makes me feel like "more of the same".
• 2 is the highlight here I believe, featuring the iconic pyramids that define the region without being overstated. They have a perfect proportion within the screenshot to communicate that they are a single feature in a large expanse.

 

Ok, OnReTech, reward me for my contribution! On a scale of 1-6 (which seems fitting), 6 being the most likely, how likely is it that we will see the Sinai map launched with the next Open Beta release sometime in the coming month?

5 - hands down. It's the only one that has some compositional value (the tall spire in the foreground serves as a focus for a fibonaci golden ratio spiral, the foreground horizon hits exactly  the golden ratio with a hint of the pyramids seemingly floating above it), it actually remains pleasant and mysterious to look at after a few seconds (the other appear predominantly boring to my eyes. Obviously, I'd move the foreground spire somewhat to the right, but that's just my take

Even if it's subconscious, the picture is framed with care and really works. Someone has a good eye.
