I found another video on bilibili, reporting game crash when he hit a radar of SA-11 system. He claims that the crash happens with ground units but only in MP. Sounds maybe it's different issue but I leave the link here if needed.

Does anyone see my FF Su-27? It's about 22m in length and 15m in width.

It should be here! I saw it just now! Anyone touched it?

What? I'm dreaming?

Have had to abandon this module for now as it crashes more than with any other plane, even the new 15E. Can barely fly any mission without a crash to desktop. So frustrating as otherwise I love flying the Gazelle.

You really should try to get help to sort it out. My computer is 10 years old, and DCS has never crashed on me unless when I dare to OC my GPU.
Just sayin'

Of course I'm trying that ... just very frustrated. For example here is a report with LOG file and MIZ file and no answer! @BIGNEWY
At some point I get tired of sending in files only to hear nothing.

We deal with thousands of questions and requests and sometimes we miss some, if you think we have missed something important feel free to PM me or nineline.
We generally watch the ED areas of the forum, as third party's are responsible for their areas, but we are always happy to take a look if we can help.

we need to see data, the logs will have clues

Apologies if I came off as wiseass, that was not intentional.
Personally I use a live log viewer to monitor DCS constantly when it's running, (or crashing). IE. lately it makes me able to see where the loading/startup of DCS takes more time since the previous patch. The log does not close if DCS crashes, and I can immediately scroll up and (usually) see what caused it.
As for the crash logs you can send in through the interface, I've never expected any response to those.

Cheers!

posts merged I will take a look

Please remove all unofficial mods from

C:\Users\boysi\Saved Games\DCS\Mods/

and run a verify in steam.

If you get a fresh crash please attach the new log or the zip file if one was created in the log folder.

Btw. The latest DCS.log can obviously be opened in any log viewer to easier view through it. The one I use one can add special colors to lines with ERROR and WARNING etc.

Cheers!

use "verify file integrity" from the Steam library properties of DCS it should help

I've removed all mods (except SRS and Tacview) and did a verify. First time it saw three bad files and fixed them. Verified again and all good. Thanks for this, didn't even know that was a thing.

I've just tried your mission in SP. I flew to the 1L13 unit, killed it using HOT3. No crash for me.

EDIT: I'll try again, but this time in OB.

Good news: I'm able  to reproduced the crash in OB, but not in ED internal build. Chances are it will be fixed in the next OB update.

That's good to hear. I also had the CTD occasionally on hitting Shilkas. It's hard to reproduce, but will happen eventually during a longer session.

@Flappie feel free to test in CB for this behaviour as it will help verify the fix.

That's what I first did, and I could not replicate the CTD. I only get the CTD in OB.

Thank you for the fix! 👍

I am having the same issue with an SA-10 SR destruction while flying the Gazelle. Uploading logs and track JIC it helps.

A number of fixes have been submitted to ED for the next OB update (date TBC, subject to change) inc. a crash due to the RWR.

A work around "might" be to turn off the RWR before destroying the enemy radar/emitter but I haven't tested this.
