Just loaded the 48335 update. Multiplayer shows zero servers. Tried exit/reload. Nada. Might reboot next. I'm in MT version (is there even a difference anymore?)

Thanks for any tips!

Naturally, once I gripe about it, the full server list appears! 🙂  This is how I drive action - panic in public, then the gremlins laugh at me, so I look stupid! 😂

Anyway, on first 3 tries, no MP servers, but now okay. Just data.

@Mik75 my Installation is also ~570 GB. So same ballpark as the others.

Thanks a lot. I will have a look later. Probably going to install it tonight.

Trying to amend the external views (make them enabled) on a saved multiplayer track (created from online session today) - created a copy of the trk file and changed the extension to .miz,  made the changes in the mission editor and then saved as another .trk file.

Seems now any changed .trk file can't be seen and selected by the replay tool, the size of the file is different too. I've even made direct copies of trk files and even they can't then be seen from the replay tool.

This was something I did many times before the 2.9 update but I can't actually give a timeline of when it perhaps stopped working as didn't edit replays for a couple months before the 2.9 update.

Is this now expected behaviour or a bug? DCS did also crash a few times whilst in the mission editor, not something that happened 3 months ago.

I finally found the time to install the latest 2.9 beta. My 2.8 install was 557GB in size, and the latest beta is 12 GB smaller. 🙂

Stable will be updated to match current open beta soon.

FYI I think this is a typo in the just released Stable update? It refers to the openbeta

“In order to disable new “spotting dots” and revert to previous logic user can put “DotRendererExperiment = False” in autoexec.cfg file located in \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\”

Isn't it also possible to disable this feature in the settings menu, just like in the previous OB?

Yes, but both ways are possible still as far as I am aware. I will mention it to the team however.
