Hi, I recently acquire Supercarrier and I noticed a very annoying problem: some missions (and unfortunatly even in pay-campaign) are stucked during loading at sim poststart. Strangely, sometime and after tens of tentative, they may be loaded. I found some other threads in the past but no solutions... hope it will be fixed because it limit the user experience not only of SC, but of campaign based on it.

Hi, please attach a dcs log from the session it should have more clues.

Please also ensure all unofficial mods are removed ( if any ) and a slow repair or verify if steam has been completed.

thank you

Hi,

please go to saved games folder and rename your DCS folder ( keep it as a backup )

restart DCS ( consider using the multithreading version )

DCS will create a new folder, let it load, sign in and test.

You need to ensure windows is up to date also. Check your antivirus / security is not creating a problem for DCS. Check your hard drive is not full.

if you still have issues attach your dcs log again

I follow your instruction for renew of DCS saved games folder (win, ssd space and av are ok) and play another mission with the same problem (atm I got this problem with 3 mission of a campaign, others 9 missions runs fine; another pay-campaigns runs fine with all missions). Here I attached th log of this last test (different mission compared previous one log).

I had the same error in past weeks. Deleted the Supercarrier from my missions and added again, from fresh (clean deck), then i started to add my statics as usually and then at some point the mission won´t past from "Sim PostSart". Yesterday what worked for me (after check my DCS log file) was to move, or, delete 2 static object mods (Navy heli with folded tail, is just a static object) because i noticed the statics were coliding with the Island of the carrier and the DCS log error message that i get was about collision damage model. After i moved the statics so they won´t overlap another static or the carrier island tower the mission starts without any issue. So, my guess is that some static object is overlaping another static or wall. In my case was easier to solve because i create my own missions and i checked my statics one by one, in your case might be more difficult because you use paid campaigns and i don´t know if you´re allowed to edit them in ME, of, if you know how to use the Missin Editor. Even if you don´t use mods one the DCS core static objects might be the culprit, to find which one is the problem. Try to check your last lines of DCS log.

I read in other posts that it may related to static object on decks: my log reports message such as "2023-12-03 13:02:45.932 ERROR   WORLDGENERAL (Main): Error: Unit [CH-53E]: No property record for segment "Node701"."

...but as you said, it is not possible to edit mission of paid-campaign...

I have similar problems with my super carrier mission that I use for my buddies and me.
Last entries of DCS.log before hanging at this point is something with SH-60B. I will try to find a DCS.log on my computer once I have access to it again.

I still get this issue with one specific mission of mine. Bignewy's solution does sometimes work, but only temporarily as the problem will start again. The only way to 100% resolve the problem is to edit the mission and remove all static deck crew and deck vehicles (not aircraft), however this isn't possible with paid campaigns.

I have no acces to my higher spec rig currently to look for the logs, sorry.
But what I can tell you is, that I sent the mission file to my friend, he opened and saved it, and then I was able to open and run it again.

We compared the file "mission." (as part of the .MIZ) with Notepad++, and what we found out was that a few entries (like the date of the mission, and a few other entries) were mixed up in their sequence.
Both of us are on Openbeta 2.9.1.48335, but when he saved the file, things then look a bit different in his files than in mine.

uff

It hasn´t to do with shaders. It´s a issue linked to the deck crew (carrier).
