Hi Drivers and Developers,

Cruise Missile Issue still persists with the updates, but my squadron and I discovered something interesting in the TacViews:

From the Player launching a SLAM/ER to a target with radar, it shows as a hit with the BDA Report
From the Spectator, it shows going in circles.

All which seen on two different tacview angles.

TLAMs still go in a circle, but less of them are doing this. Whatever y'all have done this time, its working!

Hope this new information helps moving forward. Y'all are doing a great job.

Today I launched two slam-ers at two different waypoints in TOO mode. About halfway the first missile started going in circles. First one was set to low and second to high and it reached it's target.

Fixed with today's OB update.

Am I doing something wrong then? I'm trying to get a Tu-160 to launch 6 cruise missiles at Senaki's Ammo area. The cruise missiles are just going into orbit until they run out of fuel(didn't stay long enough to test). Out of the 6 targets, the Tu-160 only launched 5 (fixed this by recreating target 6). Out of the 5 launched this iteration, none of the missiles reached the target; Sometimes only 1 will hit. I did a test with 12 targets, 11 launched and 3 hit the target. It seems very inconsistent. I've tried different ways to do it. By adding advance waypoint actions and they current way by using trigger actions.

F-18 SLAM-ER when launched with Steer Points stills seem to circle….  It was at an SA-10, so near a SAM site.  I’ll attach a Tacview later.

@Flappie Looks like I have issue with SLAM-ER after the last update (2.9.3.51704): when programming 2 intermediate waypoints before target (I created them manually during mission, not in ME), SLAM-ER follows first one correctly but doesn't turn to the target after reaching second waypoint (there were some slight movements on external view as if it couldn't turn for some reason). First faced it during MP mission on the server, then reproduced it locally. I recorded track for the local test, but it might be too long (I used time acceleration). Had no issues with the missile flying directly to the target without intermediate waypoins. It still might have been some mistake on my end (I didn't touch SLEM-ER for some time), but it definitely worked before with the same sequence of actions.

UPDATE: it seems SLAM-ER can't turn to the target even when there's just one intermediate waypoint.

Thank you

Kh-65 issue fixed with today's update (2.9.3.51704).

@Gosling If you keep seeing an issue with the SLAM-ER, please tell me.

I’ll give it another try…

same problem. tomahawks launched from ships sometimes completely miss the target and keep flying forever in a straight line at 25k feet and 670 kts

I created a tomahawk attack on a airbase with 50 tomahawk. 10 out of 50 hit irrelevant places. it used to make circles which was fixed. but now it turns left slightly and hits random points. uploaded track and mission. you can start attack via radio menu-flag 98

@BIGNEWY I know that SLAM-ER thread was locked and the issue has been taken into work, just wanted to link the message above ^ with track recorded in SP reproducing it (still present on 2.9.11.4686 MT) in case it's needed for testing.
