All 3rd party modules require a DCS World release patch version, under ED control. 3rd parties has none control over a module release and need send the module data content to ED to integrate them on the release version / updates on any new patch. Remember the last newsletter:

Remember the module manager on Standalone version has under ED servers, and that require the same version to add and update the modules under a specific path (that is not MSFS).

DCS Active branches... with integrated ED/3rd Party modules.

That patch has none exclusive of the HB F-4E, surely has more content from ED (AH-64 new funtionality and other ED modules), bugfix, etc, and others 3rd Parties content as the Massun92´s Asset Pack - Official, and other 3rd party updates, bugfixes and campaigns.

Then you'll be probably waiting for a year or more, while the rest of us become phabulously skilled.  This is a flagship module.  I'd rather have it tomorrow, myself.  Hopefully I won't let it sitting around untouched forever, like I've done with a few, but I'm a little more motivated with this one.

Some people don’t get their news from the forum or discord. For some youtube is the main or even only source of information. So, whilst I don’t like clickbait titled videos, putting out a two minute video to report on the delay is legit in my book.

It's a simple question of principle and respect for the customer, philosophy has nothing to do with it, if you don't want to understand or even worse if you pretend not to understand, it's better to move on.

a properly working high fidelity model like the HB F4 (dev environment) for a NOT ready environment (ED/DCS) is worthless and should be delayed ... AGREED ... BUT they should test & state this BEFORE final release date (AND communicate with each other BEFORE) ... customers ($$) have the right to be pissed off
