Pretty sure that ED is following its own legal advice on what should or shouldn't be said!

 That's pretty much what I meant.

I was thinking about buying the f-15. Then I saw the recent negative reviews on steam. Because of that I came to this forums, found this thread and read the whole story. A short info on the store pages (here and steam) would've been better. More conveniant and generally more open comunicative. The way ED handles this looks a bit like they've something to hide

I'm also pretty sure that ED's legal advice is for their own benefit. As a consumer, I (and I'm sure others too) much prefer to be informed about such a situation prior to purchasing something No legal advice needed regarding common sense. Module is in an ongoing dispute, development frozen for now and might degrade with DCS core updates. Of course the legal team ain't a fan of that, but consumers might like to know - since they are the ones paying money that will never leave ED's store.

We understand how the dispute becoming public has damaged reputations and we are sorry for that. That however does not change the fact that until there is a resolution to the dispute we can not say any more.

It’s saddening to hear that there are issues between RAZBAM and ED that could lead to the F-15SE becoming unusable. If that will be the unfortunate outcome, then the project must be given to an entity that could continue to support the project. It would be a great shame to loose the F-15 SE.

It's not ED's to give. Razbam are unlikely to give anyone anything if they are not paid. You should prepare for the likelihood that these modules will go the way of the Hawk.

Might as well take from being offered on store along with other RB modules. This kind of disclaimer is nonsensical.

Beware of what? What it means the dispute? Should I head to the forums to read 100s of pages of comments by uneducated people in the subject as no one knows the exact details of the actual 'dispute'? And by reading all the comments on all threads the buyer will then still have the good will to pay for it?

If you don't believe in your product, why on earth would you sell it?

The SE on store is a statement. Is either that or remove it all together. No disclaimers; that would be pure weakness.

I know, I didn’t mean ED to give. I meant both parties (RAZBAM and ED) must reach an agreement. I, for one, have paid for the right to use my copy of the F-15SE and I wish to be able to use the product.

When we can share some news about an agreement or resolution to the dispute we will let everyone know, but I do not see it happening quickly.

And you know this because you're the legal representaive of Razbam?  You're privy to the terms and conditions between both parties ?

Me too. On top of purchasing it directly from the store I made a friend get it as well. He had no interest beforehand. Double remorse, more for another person than from myself.

I won't try to get a refund, for now. I wanted the SE, and I still want the SE. Great plane, great development on its systems so far.

I don't believe it will come to that, as neither party want that to happen, there's far too much at stake for both parties should the unthinkable happen.

It's all meaningless when we're told that WWIII is right around the corner, and that the sea levels are rising, the polar ice caps are melting, and that climate change will end mankind in 8 years time....... all nothing more than pure speculation !!

Same as the current situation, all speculation, so in the meantime, why not continue using the modules, as they're still very enjoyable, and working ?

I have been doing so, I spent an enjoyable evening flying the Strike Eagle last night. I don't see why this should preclude me from sharing my feedback in this thread, however?

Sorry about the drama this situation has caused us all, but If this issue ever come to a satisfactory conclusion for us customers, I may consider re-purchasing the F-15e.

Hopefully who ever acquires the rights to these modules will continue to develop them.

BTW my "Potentially Unwanted App" Issue went away

Hopefully my Harrier holds up but I rarely fly it any way and may just uninstall it for now to save precious space on my SSD.
