The only reason why they can keep Razbam's share in the first place, is because they are claiming damages. Otherwise they would already have to pay. And if Razbam has to pay damages, then they will obviously not get all that money and perhaps none of it.

No, I'm not ignoring the damages: they simply are part of a diffrent computation, which will become relevant only after the settle of the dispute in the court. And you are wrong: RB might get its money (whole or in part) even if they had to pay damages to ED. RDF 3rd Fighter Squadron - "Black Knights": "Ar Cavajere Nero nun je devi cacà er cazzo!" rfxcasey Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) Ah, I remember the good ol' days when "the customer is always right". Losing the use of any Razbam modules would be a travesty, but personally I feel the Mirage and Harrier would be devastating, especially considering how long they've been around for. The Hawk issue was bad enough, but considering Razbam at one time made up around a third of ED's lineup of full fidelity aircraft, it's unfathomable ED allowed a scenario like this to unfold. Makes one wonder what other poor decisions have yet to occur. I can't say I have any level of confidence that the Harrier and Mirage won't be lost entirely, especially when you consider the less than satisfying answers and communication. Seems ED is playing legal duck and cover. I'll say it again, this never should have happened, yet here we are. This isn't a troll and fanboys will fanboy. The hard truth is many of us have legitimate concerns and feelings on this issue. Are we "wrong" or just inconvenient? I know many would rather us just stow it and not voice our opinions, but I absolutely LOVE the Harrier and don't want to see it die. And who's to say this couldn't also happen with Heatblur, no one can say for sure. I have store credit for the Strike Eagle so I guess I'll spend it on Cold War Germany. After that, I think I'm done. I have enough modules to play with for the rest of my life, though I may be losing a few more it seems. It's a sad state of affairs. Edited April 18 by rfxcasey 10 2

How about they wrestle in public over Easter at the Pope's Saint Peter Basilica, with the pope himself as referee to insure impartiality? And the side of the public that screams loudest wins. Horns Posted April 21 Posted April 21 13 hours ago, PhantomHans said: That would mean that they could talk, they just choose not to. Can't and won't are often a matter of perspective. Employees of ED (and NG) are compelled to act in the best interests of the company. If their counsel has advised that making this a public debate would not be in the company's interests, it's reasonable for them to say they *can't* do so. Even if you forget the above, and even if BN and NL were convinced by your argument and permitted to speak of things differently, the only change would be that ED would say they *won't* comment rather than they *can't* comment. Would that really change anything?
