You misunderstood. I know the airfield as I was traveling through many times. I am challenging the origins of the banner itself. It's nowhere else to be found.

Not really. They missed two dates and sections of the community started throwing tantrums. It makes sense that they hold off on announcing a new date until they're sure they can actually hit it.

I think it was 3 dates.  June 26th, July 3rd, July 4th.

Hi ED,

with respect to updates, would you consider the following changes?

 

1- An 'Update' is something without a published release date, and only includes new features to DCS, such as radar improvements or a new module perhaps

2- A 'Fix' is something with a published release date, with only a wish-list of projected fixes announced prior to this date

 

Caveats:

- An Update isn't released knowing it will break significant portions of currently working DCS module features

- A fix is only released with successful repairs to broken functionality, not WIP fixes that were part of the original wish-list

 

If you guys feel the need to apologise to the community, something seriously needs to change.  While you can (and should) never be held responsible for the impatient or the uninformed, you are of course responsible for managing expectations. 

I believe the majority of our community is patient enough to wait for things to be fixed and released, or new things added and released.  But not when they are broken.  

For your consideration.
