Ciao @Avalanche110... my self and all members of our virtual fighter group are very exciting about this.
I know your are working hard on the relase side, just one quesiton regarding some details on your "procedure"..
while we are probably using old AFMAN about Nellsi AFB, your demo often referr to: North War, Gate 1, etc... are those new NTTR details shorty updated?
any reference you can point us to?

tks and.... hoping the whole thing one day will work on multiplayer.... I didn't ready any question about MP.

Thank you all

Hello Aldo.

Yes, Its multiplayer compatible, Ideal for small to medium sized squadrons.

The procedures used are an amalgamation from various sources.

https://static.e-publishing.af.mil/production/1/nellisafb/publication/nellisafbi11-250/nellisafbi11-250.pdf

https://static.e-publishing.af.mil/production/1/nellisafb/publication/afi13-212v1_accsup_nttrsup_add_a/afman13-212v1_nttr_add_a.pdf

https://www.lazygranch.com/red_audio.htm

While every effort has been made to make the procedures as realistic as possible. Certain aspects required creative license to fill in the gaps.

North War - Clearance provided to enter the northern airspace of NTTR

South War  - Clearance provided to enter the southern airspace of NTTR

Gates 1-4 - Not explicitly stated in AFMAN, but procedures align with reference material. referenced in Redflag audio ~ 2014

In the event new information or SME's are found, I'm more than happy to amend procedures.

Trying the tutorial at the moment with the first F-18 slot.

Can't click 'Request Takeoff' from Tower. Option is present, but won't click.

Possibly because another F-18 snuck out ahead of me and is blocking the ramp?

That's your instructor holding short of the runway.

If the Comms menu is open when the F-10 Commands are generated, you cant click them. Just close the Radio menu and re-open it, then you should be able to select the command.

Thanks, I'll try again. I thought I had checked the F-10 menu and found only ATC available at that time.

EDIT: It's also possible I needed to put the primary radio back to channel 1 to see the Instructor option.

The instructor will hold short of the runway and instruct you to contact tower and request take off.

once your given takeoff clearance he’ll enter the runway and take off. Follow the instructor and fly formation with him.

Their will be a YT video of the Tutorial soon.

I got to try it out yesterday for amount 20 minutes, very nicely done. I did a couple IFR approaches, I like to be able to select the option, would like to see how it plays out with more aircraft in the pattern.

It really improves the immersion, thank you!

Theirs instructions in the FAQ on Discord.

AI_ATC does not require installing, it’s all contained within the .miz

just copy the .miz file to where you keep your DCS missions.

I did just that but I couldn't get ATC to work, neither in Preset or Manual audio settings (Phantom).

However, ATC worked in other quick start missions in Nellis.

Isn't in necessary to copy the lua file as well?

There are .miz files included with the download that have AI_ATC setup and ready to go.

if you want to add AI_ATC to existing .miz then you will need to add the lua files and sound files.

their are instructions on how to do that in the OperatingManual.PDF

if your still having trouble, join us on Discord. One of us will be able to help you set up much faster.

Very nice, will other VFR departures such as A-10 VFR north and west be added eventually?

Yes, other departure and approach procedures are planned, Including the A-10 VFR departures.

First of all, Good Morning and thank you very much for this masterpiece!

I am trying to join the discord but the invite link in the first page drops an error, could we maybe have a new one please?

Thanks again!

I found, unintentionally, a way to break AI ATC. Did the provided miz and started to "talk" to ATC, the cmd got executed but never answered. I found out I was using the wrong freq.

I was to issue the request again, but the menu item was gone.

Intended?

Yes it is possible to inadvertently select incorrect commands when tuned into the wrong frequency.

Previous versions of AI_ATC required you to be on the correct frequency in order to execute commands.

Unfortunately this feature is not compatible with multiplayer.

if you select a command when on the incorrect frequency, you can use the “Repeat last transmission” command

the controller will repeat their last instruction.

I have updated the Discord link in the first post.

Please let me know if you have any more issues.

EDIT: Scratch that, I made it! Thank you!

Nope, still invalid... Might be something on my end, 'cause the very first time I tried the old link it seemed like I was getting somewhere, then it just decided not to work for some reason...
