Today the ix514 randomly broke ic.. and i wasn't even using the mission.  I had to delete it.

Best I can suggest for the time being is to go into the mission editor and delete the mods that are no longer working in game.  I flew the last two video over the past 2 days and have not run into any issues.  I know that's not what you want to hear, but I am having trouble replicating the issue.  Also, with ED's new patch this week, we were waiting to see how it affected ITJ  I noticed last night the Huey's were dropping out of the sky again.  Unfortunately, this is part of the problem building a mission centric around a ton of mods.  I have been tempted to scale it back to just the VAP pack, Cayuse, and Bronco.  When ViolentNomad releases his Cobra and we push this out again, I will probably remove the static boats you do not see very often and the ones not being used.

Pretty sure @SPOOKY 1-1 put out a single modpack to use with his hosted version of ITJ.

Not really a solution, but it's a way to dodge the problem!

Just FYI Gents, I am not 100% sure how bad ITJ has been affected by the latest update, however it's not sounding good.  Kandy is getting better, and we touched base briefly today via text.  Sounds like one of the community members who was instrumental in assisting him on providing scripting advice has encountered some major issues with how ED is coding DCS now to protect their work if I understand correctly (not a coder or software dev). 

Sounds like some game breaking issues are starting to pop up or could with mod maker or mission developers, so please be advised you may encounter issues with ITJ.  I would love to say we will fix them, but from what i understand, the way ED has structured the code now could possibly prevent us from correcting future issues.  Hopefully ITJ continues to work, and I will test tomorrow.  I did see Bignewy was reaching out to people for feedback, but I am not sure what that entails.  More to come.

Great news, for me anyway  I re-installed 'Into The Jungle' into DCS after latest update and it worked most excellent. My flying did not get any better but ITJ worked as advertised. I'll be posting a short video on youtube in a day or so. Hope the guys heal quickly. Miss you all's videos.  Appreciate you and your Guys hard and quality work!

The idx514 mod caused my game to crash so I removed it and haven't played itj since.  Has that been resolved/removed?

I wish I could assist but I have been playing ITJ on the server with the latest version we released and have not encountered any issues.  Flew last night, but did not record.  One thing I have changed though is I turn off my antivirus/spyware now when I fly DCS.  I noticed it was causing the performance issues.  I only turn it off when flying on DCS though.

I would recommend opening in the mission editor and taking out the IDX to start with.  Then maybe disable spyware/antivirus if it persists.  I hate to say it, but this is the problem we run into playing a mod heavy mission.  Especially with every new update.  I know the last update that reverted back to the previous version fixed a lot of issues with mods and missions.  You may give it another shot and see if anything has changed. 

I wish ED @Wags @NineLine would consider making @Eight Ball Eight Balls VAP pack an official addition to DCS.  It is stellar from the AI perspective and has really provided some much needed assets to DCS.

been experimenting last two days with vr settings. quest 3, 4090, 32g RAM on Windows 11. I am not sure if this is due to an IX514 issue, but this mission is unplayable currently with my setup. I can only average around 32 fps at startup in the oh6 from all locations. When I take contact and shoot missiles, frames freeze around 2-6 fps. I know I could have more ram, but should still be able to manage with what I have. I play online most days and get anywhere from 50-70fps with the same settings. I have tried lowering everything yet it still freezes when I take contact.

He would just need to propose it to us, and we could consider it if it meets all requirements.

Here is a video from last week.  Getting back into it and hoping the boys can join soon.  We also, I just posted some photos from ViolentNomads discord of the AH-1G Cobra.  Looks like it is getting close to release.  Link below to the forum I posted it in if you do not follow him on discord.  We will add this to Into the Jungle on its release.  Also did some touch up to Antonio Airport a bit.

It is with heavy heart today I say goodbye to longtime friend and mentor of 26 years, Zipper.  He passed away last night after battling some long-term health issues.  He is a retired Army Vet and retired Police Officer with a combined total of 44+ years serving his country and community.  His passion for military aviation, his country, his community, and DCS had no limitations.   I have never met anyone who could talk to you for 3 or 4 hours about any military aircraft you had a question about.  His house was museum of aviation relics, and he was walking encyclopedia of knowledge on the Army.  

It was a hard hit this morning getting the news as I had just finished putting something together for us on the new Marianas map.  He always enjoyed flying with Kandy and I and receiving the kind responses out of the community that followed our videos.  DCS will not be the same for me without him.  He will be missed.  I wanted to thank everyone who has followed him around with us on "into The Jungle".  We always had a good laugh with the comments, and he was always our comic relief.

To the best virtual wingman and friend a guy could ask for....Zipper.

Absolutely.  Amen, Devil. 

As the newcomer to the group all I can say is Zipper will be missed greatly.  The missing man formation takes on a whole new meaning for me.

He welcomed me to the group some 2 years ago and made me feel part of the team immediately.

So happy my work travels allowed us to meet in person.

RIP, brother Zipper.
