Patch Note Discussion December 2024

I don’t know if anyone else has experienced the following after yesterday’s patch. 
 

In cockpit (F16) no steerpoints are available (single player, not sure about MP) all the values of grid co-ords are zero. Checking the ME the routes are still listed but they don’t get transferred to the jet on multiple maps. 
 

Possible bug?

Nice patch,

Viper is now a BLAST to fly in.

Would love to see the cockpit reflections put back as this adds so much realism to the bird.

Great improvements with this patch! I only flown the Apache so far, but it now flies like a charm. As far as it belongs to me, the Apache is in a really good shape now. So much fun and sensation to fly, just like back in the old days of Jane's Apache Longbow 2.

If it wouldn't cause an impact on the overall performance of the module, I would wish ED would bring back the head-movement of the CPG and TADS movement, as it brings a lot of life into the cockpit.

Just a quick note about the new -

"Set Visable Draw"

Its great for adding Popup Target Locations and Objects Destroyed Etc info on the F10 Map to give visual info during a mission.

See short causasus with no mods demo attached below -    

1. Mission starts and all draw objects are set to false.  Value Checkboxs unticked.

2. After 5 seconds the "ATTACK AIRBASE TANKS" draw item is set to true Value Checkbox ticked and is visable on F10 View 

3. The A10 destroys both Tanks .

4. The "ATTACK AIRBASE TANKS" draw item is set to false Value Checkboxs unticked.

           "ALL Tanks Destroyed" draw item is set to true Value Checkbox ticked and is visable on F10 View

           It gives a basic idea i thought it may help someone.

The ETA is definitely borked. Same speed whole way through and the time was consistently going UP rather than down as I downloaded more.

Enjoyed the SA winter textures with a low standing sun. Great addition.

Question regarding AI B-52, will there be some more liveries? I know the model is an H and didn't flew in Vietnam, but combined with F-4 or other Cold War era jets it would be great to have some SEA camo on the plane.
