fixed internally Templates gone

All my ME templates are gone after the last update. The names are still there, but I cannot put them on the map. Any way to restore?

Are they very old Templates? (over a year) ... happens on every Map?

Just tested on my DCS and it seems to work as usual, for example on the Caucasus map:

Sorry, I thought you were talking about Static Templates, but seems like you were talking about Group Templates ... those are stored on templates.lua at /Saved Games/DCS/MissionEditor/

Thanks! That is still there, however when I put one on the map, the ME doesn't do that, ie nothing is put on the map upon clicking the intended position

On my end it works as normal:

 

 

 

Can you try the following:

1st, run a DCS repair to make certain that your core DCS is ok.

2nd, rename the templates.lua at /Saved Games/DCS/MissionEditor/ ... say to templates.bak  ... this will take out your custom templates if any.

 

Can then you use at least the standard Templates?

Not working for me either. I did a repair and the suggestion above but no joy. Very annoying!

Can you upload your dcs.log file to confirm there are no user mods that may interfere?

I have the same problem, and i creat a new ships group template, it does't work either.

Same problem!  Neither custom nor standard templates can be place on the ME map.

Rolling back to previous version and it works again, so that is defo an update problem

hi Guys, tried everything same here nothing being placed on the map....spent literally hours creating these, can something be done please.

The template issue is fixed internally. The fix will be part of the next update.
