As we already know that the chance for MiG-23 from Razbam is dead. Is there any news that someone else wants to take on this topic? Is there a chance that we will see it in the game?

Won't argue that the odds of Razbam doing it are going down every day, but technically it's not "dead" yet (since the legalities haven't been settled one way or another) so it's not possible for someone else to step in yet.  No idea what contracts exist in this situation, but likely if ED allowed someone else to start officially working on it Razbam would have a claim against them currently (even if RB have no intention of doing it anymore).

Short version is that anything related to RB is at a minimum frozen currently until they settle or officially breakup.

I don't care who does it or what variant we get, however, I the flogger is one the reasons that I want the Razbam issue settled

For now I choose to remain optimistic. Rumours had it that MiG-23 was about to be released when the drama became public, so in case things get sorted between both parties chances are we won’t have to wait too long.

Obviously I agree that we need a MiG-23 in DCS, preferably sooner rather than later.

MiG-23MLA Razbam chosen is the best, the lightest airframe with the strongest engine and reinforced wing root. It was still a dangerous fighter in late 1970s.

Wneh MLD was outdated when it entered production as MiG-29 was already in production as well, alongside this last -23MLD variant.

The MiG-23MLD can engage in dogfights due to the addition of vortex generators. That's what matters. 
Additionally, we require the new RWR for the jet to be survivable in modern combat settings.

Yes that’s not the first time she teased it. Last time - iirc - she said we’d get MiG-23 sooner than we think.
