I start my engines, take off, kill a few targets, get shot down, crash recover. Start my engines again and nothing happens. Sometimes the engine will start but will not complete (the needles will stay stuck a couple of ticks from the engine cold position)

Also, does anyone else have problems with the Shkval being hard to slew? It seems it starts VERY slow as you hold the key, then starts to speed up alot. I have a real hard time locking a target like this.

When using Land Mines installed with Mission Editor Static Object/Buildings the landmines function but they don't seem to damage or destroy the vehicles setting them off. (all buildings in screenshot were added with the Static Object/Buildings option) Edit; Hmmmmm.. wonder if we can mine the airfields & taxiways? Again - the mines function but no damage to the aircraft - athough it seemed to be disabled somehow since I couldnt taxi away from there.

When you do a crash recovery your throttle position doesn't change! So you start the engines and it gets flooded with fuel and it doesn't work. Sometimes it will even start a small fire just like the docs said lol (nice touch). So Remember to reset your throttle after doing a crash recovery.

He was moving to my left and was slightly left of my centerline. Even though he was very near beam I definitely had a lock on him (he was approx. 2000 feet). I fired a 120 and saw it come off the rail and go slightly to my right. The bandit then broke lock. That 120 had locked onto a teammate and killed him. The way it looked was as if I had fired on a bandit under 50 feet and the missle didn't track to the target even though I had a hard lock on him. Is there a reason missles wouldn't follow guidance data for a locked target? Maybe I was too close and the 120 just went maddog off the rail even with the lock? And, anybody have a response as to why friendly jam signals change to enemy rectangles when they are locked?

After watching a track I cannot alter some of the settings like water detail, for instance. I have to close the game and then restart it to change the settings. 3. Also, after watching a track, my settings in the graphics options screen are not what I had them set to prior to my flight. However, the settings that are shown (the ones I did NOT choose) don't seem to be the graphics presented anyways. Wierd. I am wondering if bug #3 is really a bug at all. I.E., those are the settings being used to create the tracks hence the settings for them being different after leaving the track. The only issue I have with this is the fact that I have to restart the game in order to make changes and go fly the way I want too (with my graphics settings). The screen jumps to tower view. There not chance of attempting to see an eject sequence of to try and land my damage bird. Is this normal or Im a missing something....

The locked bandit was not near beam this time either. Anybody else having a problem with ARH missles maddogging when they shouldn't? BTW, the RPM guages are labelled correctly when the lights are turned on.

Moose, I'm pretty sure this means your plane was destroyed and you were killed. The only things I've survived so far are hits by heaters and cannons. And even the R-73s have killed me sometimes.

112th_Rossi Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Flaps do not appear deployed on the SU25T to other players when they actually are. They appear deployed on the players machine but not to other players. In this instance my flaps were fully deployed but to my squad mate they were retracted.

Brun Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Still can't un-bug (no pun) targets using CTRL-TAB in F-15 TWS mode. Once a target is bugged, the only way to un-bug it is to either lock it in STT and then unlock it, or toggle the radar off-on. Given that it's easy to select the wrong target in cluttered airspace, I was hoping that might've been addressed. I guess this isn't strictly a bug, but I reckon it should still make it onto the 'stuff what needs fixing' list. S77th-GOYA Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 Russian planes are getting a lock and launch warning when locked in HOJ. The 15 is not. Maybe this has to do with ARH missles, but a lock warning seems unlikely. Also, when I lock a bandit HOJ, I get a target box around them. Should I be getting that? It seems the only thing that is in question is range, and that can be estimated by the RWR strength of their radar.
Kula66 Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 When you jump to another a/c ... they have no flares/chaff :( Also, if you lock an a/c in a 15 ... fire then switch to another a/c ... the first missile seems to go after the second target!!! You have to wait for the first to hit! Makes AR a bit of a waste - no multi-shot capability ... plus they then go stupid with 100m of the target a/c ... :( James

coldcrew Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 I can't fire antiradar missiles against triple A that lock on with radar. For example a hawk site and a gepard in the same location. I lock on to the hawk, fire and destroy it. I lock on to the gepard and the 25mpu never gets a LA symbol.

I think we all know what sort of problems that can cause. 2. Camapign Start button is blank and will not depress (Use Drop Down Menu instead) 3. "\" Communication Menu Command works once if I remap it. But thereafter will not work at all. (Seemed to be related to Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1A. Changed to Standard Microsft Internet Keyboard and Microsoft Optical mouse and the problem disappeared) 4. Tutorial says "Shift SpaceBar" for Su25 Select Gunpods 2 or 4. When in actual fact "Ctl-Spacebar" (Change the Ripple Quantity) is the correct command.
