Boberro Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Nice graphic ^^ Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Ivonq Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 FSX is nice, but without any weapon systems quite worthless...
RedTiger Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 I get the fact that this is an attempt to model one airport exactly as it is, but having never visited that airport, I wouldn't really know the difference. I was expecting to see this terrain at a higher altitude and more of it. I appreciate you sharing that, as it is pretty much the best detail we've seen in a flight sim. Even though I completely understand why, I think it is funny that what we consider to be top-notch detail in a flight sim is probably what a FPS looked like 10 years ago. Thanks for sharing, though. +1 :)
wildcat EAF51 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 amazing! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I'm Fighter pilot not a murderer!
joey45 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Fantastic.... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Griffin Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Wow! The size of the add-on must be bigger than of the FSX itself!
element1108 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 wow simply outstanding! The future is bright for Flight sim terrain detail, wow!
26-J39 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Wow! The size of the add-on must be bigger than of the FSX itself! You would be surprised.. http://www.ftxnow.com
Shaman Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 I own the FTX, because I am totally fascinated with Australia since I remember. There's no other place I fly since I got this addon. I don't have everything, just parts that interest me for now - however looking forward to get this new airport. This is how I got info for you guys. 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer

EagleEye Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 As far as I can tell from the video he just flies right through both trees and street lights. Yes, I also saw that on the video, but he is talking something about that. Maybe there is an option to turn collision on? Agg Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 (edited) As far as I can tell from the video he just flies right through both trees and street lights.He's probably turned off the crash detection in FSX, that will allow you to fly through things such as trees and other solid objects without crashing. Wish we could have a combat sim that looked this good ;) Edited September 9, 2009 by Agg Typo
Shaman Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 That is correct. I confirm FTX sceneries are crashable-into :) 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer
