Great read indeed, I totally missed it. Then again, I wasn't on the forums when it was posted.

 

So, Wags, any more recent voyages to write about?

 

The obligatory comment on the food discussion is that at least we agree on one thing: German beer is indeed very good. :-)

everyone is those pictures look so young! (and I am not saying it trying to get anything back..) guess I am just getting old.... it's really freaking me out is when i go to the doctor they always look 25... years younger than me.. :doh:

German food is far away from being terrible :) Basically spoken it's mostly the same as in Poland for example.

 

I think you've went too far with this assumption. I live in Poland and every time we have some visitors from Germany or other western Europe countries they say that they envy us that we have such good food. Especially bread and cured meat. And in fact we have a lot of small breweries that makes really great beers.
