You connect your car to 'ground power'. (Engine and cabin heat, for those of us lucky enough to live right next to the f'ing North Pole.)

You get in the car and lean forward to turn on the batteries....

I've really done this and, what is more, tell people with a kind of pride in my voice

Accidently engage the parking break when you meant to accelerate.

Haven't done this, but whoa it was close once when I was heading to the store after a multi-hour DCS session. :P

So if we all seem to ba addicts, why not open a DCS Therapy Center - Forum? Your addiction could have had a bitter end, Ether. Don't try to fly when you drive ;).

We could also include a virtual softcell for the extreme cases.

Is there a psycologist in this forum?

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

And I can still hear her complain

(This is true and happened last week)

When you walk into a helicopter museum and spend 2 hours showing the staff what all the panels on their newly aquired Mil-8 are for, and shout "OMG this thing has 2 signal flare dispensors"

I think i may have said "The rudder on this thing is a bit heavy"

you start building a cockpit from scratch... <phew!>

Guilty :S

You endure a straight hour of a bladder that's ready to over flow in lieu of getting that Strela that shot you down last sortie.

When you cba to aim any more and just lock the gun in place and put airwolf music on. And then dodge a missile by doing a hammerhead stall.
