Ramstein Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 My one said: "30, i thought you said 15?" Can i ask ED directors to provide their e-mail for my wife, so she can ask them for reasons? Trust me, she wont put up with "amount of time spent on developement" :megalol: I probably should not have said that (my post which was referenced..), it was a joke, but I know my wife will question me.. because I told her the price several weeks ago.. I hope she forgets.. ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer) 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR

Maximus Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I find it quite unbelieveable that some of you are upset over a change. it is just very cute 15 dollars increase. every company have right to change the price to meet their expectation for the budget over their products. Everyone makes mistakes. inculding you guys.... quit being a whiner guys :) Maximus, The only real Maximus in DCS World. :music_whistling: I am not associated to viper 33 | Maximus. he is the imposter.
Boberro Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Not always a price is matter of whining. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
104th_Crunch Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 ...I just cant figure out why the decision to make it 30$ wasn't made before the announcement when the project was already running over schedule and probably over budget... I just can't agree with you here, like I normally do :) I think the original price would have been set thinking that it best covers the cost of the project in it's current state. Estimating hours for software development I am sure is no easy thing. So now it seems there is more work than originally planned. Seems simple to me. More work, more cost. Of course setting the actual cost is hard because you are not 100% sure of how many units you will sell. Setting a new cost I am sure was a tough decision and one that was not taken lightly.

Lucas_From_Hell Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Guys, please, just use math. If you ask Joe to bring the beer for the game this time around, you'll already save the 15 dollars you need to buy Flaming Cliffs 2.0. Not rocket science, really :music_whistling:
VMFA117_Poko Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I think when I look under my coach I'll find some bucks that I lost from trousers pockets to save on such cost increase. Thankfully I'm a big boy who earns money. However kids with pocket money can be unhappy...:( 1

I find it quite hard to believe what some people believe to be unbelievable. Not rocket science, really :music_whistling: over a beer, think about that... you play LOFC whatever hours each week. and you dont have to pay for more hours of flight time. it is like one time fee and off you play and you still have to pay more beers after you drink all of your beers. I think it's funny statement. Maximus, The only real Maximus in DCS World. :music_whistling: I am not associated to viper 33 | Maximus. he is the imposter.

Feuerfalke Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 So this month? You mean release this month? It's 9 months from June 2009 until now. BrumTx Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 When ever it's ready it will be worth it ..... even with the price change Remember the 346 Fire Fighters, Medics & Police who died on 9-11....... Selective memory is a wonderful thing, especially when certain posts simply disappear into the ether never to be seen again, unless I have a copy of the original post copied and pasted into word documents and saved .... just in case :) Am I an abusive idiot ? zakobi Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Does anyone know if the laser on the Su-25T, together with the vikhr, will behave more realistic as in DCS rather than FC?
Renato71 Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I agree - its unbelievable! I'm selling MiG-21 activation key. Also selling Suncom F-15E Talon HOTAS with MIDI connectors, several sets. Contact via PM.

coolts Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 You mean laser rangefinder failure after some time...Hm , nobody said nothing about that... I keep some frozen sausages taped to my laser rangefinder. Gives me an extra 60-90 seconds laser time. Also provides a nice fried snack after a CAS engagement. PS. ED, can you please delay the release of FC2.0 as I still haven’t got the hang of the SU-25T yet. Thanks. zakobi Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 You mean laser rangefinder failure after some time...Hm , nobody said nothing about that... No, more that in DCS the vikhrs have to be fired in a very narrow degree off the laser line, as it rides with it rather than following the reflecting point on the target.

Avimimus Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I'd gladly pay the extra $15 if it means a new 3d model for the B-8 rocket pod and some type of boresight limits for the 9A4172. Of course, I'd gladly pay the extra fee anyway.
