I really think that the poll should be changed to only the F-16C and the F-18C. Generally these two seem to be the most popular follow-up options.

There was something about the Viper that beyond one block it couldn't be modelled to DCS standards (due to classified info you know..). Anyone remembers which one was that?

Add the Su-27SM at least and maybe the Mig-29SMT to that list and I'll throw in a +1 as well.

Apache or Havoc with gunner and pilot for multiplayer? mmmmm......

But plane wise, I'd like to see the F15E

Stop being greedy, go and play Falcon! :P But yeah, the poll is a little strange. Only American aircraft, and F35? lol, I don't think so.

Excellent find on the Sam Simulator. ED need to take these guys under their wing. Include it with DCS somehow, and change that firing room and all the panels into a 6DOF environment.

I would rather have a HIND over a Havoc. HIND can take and give great deals of punishment.

a good point :) plus the possibility of SPECOPS insertion missions? nice

Another series of DCS?

Hello,

I want to ask whether some information with which the machine comes after ED A-10C? It could be DCS: Su-25. Otherwise, not considering ED and the DCS: Trainee in which there were two machines and a T-38 behind the U.S. and L-39ZA for russia? Eg. would be a super platinum edition, for example. for Christmas 2011!

Otherwise, DCS: A-10C perfectly guys, just below!

P.S: sorry for my worse English

All efforts are contrentrated on a 2010 release of DCS A-10C. That means you probably won't get any info until that is out the door.

Ouuu, and at least a small information or a further series of DCS will be Russian, American or perhaps European machine? PlZ, PlZ... :helpsmilie:

So we can deduce from that, that the A-10 will be completed and on the shelves before Xmas. :-)

Lightning and Raptor aren't really a realistic ask; so much about them is under wraps that it would hardly be a realistic sim in the vein of the A-10 and Ka-50. Super Hornet and Tomcat would be good ones, as would the F-15, F-18, MiG-29 and Su-27...no interest in the F-16 at the moment, we've all been simming that for decades :/

To be fair to the f16, simming a 10 year old "gem" vs a new flight model, proper 3D pit and ballistics complete with supporting a10c's is not something any of us have played with. I would welcome it with open arms personally. She's fast, capable and deadly.

Of course I'd be happy with all your suggestions, just needed to defend the viper ;).

I agree with you about the Raptor and the Lightning, espacially with the Tomcat, But I totally disagree with your F-16 opinon. Since this is an Aircraft what is imho really needed in DCS. Espacially according to its A2G capability. Additionally to this, it´s an awesome Aircraft.

You´re right that the falcon Sim is already around for a long time, but nevertheless not compareable with DCS...my mind. So I AM very interested in this.

That's some good points. I think the F-16 would compliment the A-10 very well in DCS. Imagine the possibilities in coop multiplayer. F-16's acting as escort or SEAD escort for A-10's. :santa:

where's the Harrier? It's long overdue a good sim and we could have an American one and a British one - would be awesome

GR7 is prabaly less lickly then the AV8B.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

I would certainly vote to support that, the Harrier certainly has all the right stuff to fit in with the DCS series nicely and I can only imagine how great a Harrier sim coming from DCS would turn out to be.

The F-16 and 15's have been done to death - there's no real excitement for many with these sims and quite honestly, they don't fit the DCS series as well as a Harrier or Apache would, in my opinion.
