Strange, I had no problem what so ever with FSX

Well that depends mainly on how many add-ons you have, I have several.

Always the same problem with games that require tons of add-ons, how far can you go, what conflict will you encounter ? Will it be on your face or after how many hours you get to the wrong place at the wrong time and hell get loose, and then which of my 300 add-ons is causing this fuss ?

HaF 922, Asus rampage extreme 3 gene, I7 950 with Noctua D14, MSI gtx 460 hawk, G skill 1600 8gb, 1.5 giga samsung HD.

Track IR 5, Hall sensed Cougar, Hall sensed TM RCS TM Warthog(2283), TM MFD, Saitek pro combat rudder, Cougar MFD.

57 GB and more or less stable but the FPS are crappy and there is stutering on the FS Dream Team airports like Chicago.

That Spit sure is lookin' good. I really can't wait for the P-51 and F-4.:joystick:

There is so much to do in A2A's planes you wont have time to look for guns. These are the only planes that have really simulated piston engine. Beside there are many warbirds flying now, and none of them use their guns anymore. Consider it as some kind of GA plane ;)

We have IL-2 for that Mower :D

I do agree with you, but be fair, there is ALWAYS time for guns....ALWAYS.

The VRS Tacpack will add combat to FSX which is due out sometime this year hopefully. Maybe they might make some sort of SDK to allow other aircraft to have the same ability.

Unlike ol' Mower, combat isn't everything for me. I'm happy to take on the challenge of being master of my aircraft, which people can spend an entire lifetime attempting and never fire a single round.

That's why I don't play Il-2. There is a nice combat, and flight, but no aircraft simulation, don't know why it's called a combat flight simulator :music_whistling:

MSFS is primary simulator in Croatian Air Force, using adapted SOKO/LAGO MiG-21bis (in fact, the one that you can buy is developed from CroAF simulator) (at least, thats what a person that used to work on simulator explained to me).

If you add TacPack to MSFS, I can forget about selling LO/FC/DCS to CroAF. They are not interested in DCS, no matter what I say. They do not care about A-10C. Or any other aircraft in FC/DCS series.

If it is easier to add explosion to MSFS then new aircraft to DCS, thats the way they will go.

I'm selling MiG-21 activation key.

Also selling Suncom F-15E Talon HOTAS with MIDI connectors, several sets.

I think its better if a sim has the ability to do both hopefully the next MSFS might have that ability. Viewing from the perspective of one who likes to fly from point A to point B you would be wrong if you thought that FSX was in anyway being used to its max potential. Its global terrain so it has alot of potential particularly in a combat sim.
