spn
I run a dual operating system. I have two HD's, one running Windows XP 32 bit and the second drive I run Windows 7 64 bit. I am able to keep my 32 bit programs on one drive and all 64 bit programs on the other. I am aware that Windows 7 64 bit OS has a conversions for the 32 bit programs which allows them to all run together in theory but I have come across some programs which would not convert properly. Always had little issues showing up. This was resolved with the dual OS's. Of course, your hardware needs to be 64 bit to start with for this to work.
