Thats one of the main reasons I got a gamepad.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

I wanted to get BF3 but, the ORIGIN contract is really not in my interest..wonder how many of the BF3 users oppose ACTA. Would be a fun fact to know. Don`t think EA is really interested in what kind of porn you`re in to, but they sure get data that is of interest for their marketing. Why wouldn`t they, if they have the right to.

Spoiler

acta has nothing to do with accessing user habit data. they can already do that under whatever contract is listed in their eula or what you call origin contract.

it's a stupid concern. no one cried when they introduced steam, that it in itself a drm.

I didn`t say ACTA has to do with this.

And it`s not only about user habit data, it is about your system, ip, and also data on you pc that EA thinks could be important for you to enjoy you gaming experience.

Stupid concern? You came to that conclusion after EA swear they will go responsible with your data?

I feel better on this side of stupid.

You're never private on the internet now. Google, Amazon, Ebay, Facebook, Steam, Uplay, any type of third party software, hell at its most basic - the cookie. Everything is tracked and collected. It's nothing new so don't be so surprised that one publisher is doing it now, it's probably more the case that it's come into the public light. Everything else just slips by. ok punk buster has been fixed.

yeep; but still aim hacks going on in there. I watched 2 guys sit at the metro tunnel entry way, camp our spawn point, which was way in the rear of the tunnel; [gun]Mr.nothin had 72/2 K/D. mmm sound like they still can't fix the obvious aim botters.

That's not proof of hacking. Metro is a horrendous map, sniper's paradise. Especially when your team gets pushed back to US spawn. Long, extremely narrow straights makes a sniper happy. The guy probably would have been revived alot too - not much for other classes to do except go support/medic if they're not sniping. Add to that if you're playing 64 players then that's not hard to achieve if you're a really good sniper and on the winning team.

Hell I've gotten 40+to 4 just by camping at the bottom of the escalators as US cos people keep on trying to shoot down and the medics were doing their job.

Operation Metro, Revive and heal as if your life depends on it. My best was 2nd place in 64/64 server without single kill (and death ). Rank 47 < 1 month...
