F4 had a dynamic campaign that was pretty cool, when it worked! Hint hint cough cough

I wouldn't even consider a dynamic campaign on this one. They are still very far from getting this thing running good the way it is. A campaign mission already is pretty crappy unless you have some major hardware so I couldn't imagine a dynamic one.

DCS A 10C Warthog is a new milestone in Sims for the next 10 years.

Sincere thank you to all who made this possible.

I'm not quite there yet. I think the next DCS module (DCS F-18C (insert US fixed wing AC)) will finally convert all those still hanging onto F4/FF5/ and OF and become the next benchmark sim.

Was digging around in the loft yesterday and I found my original boxed version of Falcon 4.0 and janes F18 both with their manuals too. Made it so much easier to learn these games with the manuals training mission walk throughs.... i got admit it though I prefer Sam L Jackson talking me through it :D Guess it's time to print the hog manual now.

+1...I think a lot of the hardcore fastjet boy's won't come across until a fastjet is made.We got helicopter, ground attack fixed wing.....so if the next DCS module is another helo or ground attack a/c then I think they will miss a trick (obviously they are all over it and I am sure i have read it's a fastjet next).......

..........all they need to do then is create modules for the KC-135 and AWACS and we will have the whole FSX community across......ED will then rule the planet HA HA HA!!!:megalol:

It had a DC?!? Fark man, it was buggy as hell when released and it's still as unstable as then in DC mode.

With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.

I agree with the caveat that the next jet must be an F16 and there needs to be a dynamic campaign down the road sometime. Personally, I couldn't care less about a DC but many people do.

Those two things would possibly kill Falcon, but who knows. Let me ask this, how many will go back to Falcon if BMS is ever released?

ED is the new "religion" group in town. :P Give it some time. They will all visit these forums sometime.

Maybe none, the graphics are horrible. Looks like an Atari vs a PS3.

It makes you wonder if the Falcon development team were still around would we be up to Falcon 5.0 by now and what influence the Falcon line may have had on other developers, not just ED but 1C etc with features like a dynamic campaign etc

lost the manual too.

That 3 ring binder was a highlight, along with the Bonano video! I still use the F4 and Janes F/A-18 manuals for reference sometimes.

well I will play A10 for a couple of months and then go back to falcon like every year. No DC = short life cycle, that simple it is.

I dont understand why ED does not create a DC. I am a software developer myself and I think its ridiculous. Falcon had it 10 years ago oh boy.

Not necessarily if they finish this :)
