Dark glass of pilot's helmet

Just curious, we have night vision and it looks great, but why we don't have the option to use the dark glass of the pilot's helmet? it will be really usefull because the sun in the game really hurts the eyes.

No, he made it in Photoshop just to show what he would like to see ingame. He wants the sun appear with helmet glass on without the sunbeams also, just as spot

 

it would be great to have something like this in the game.

You can try combining cepega's tinted glass with my no rays sun mod and this gets you half way there...

You can also remove the glare of the sun but I haven't found a way yet to mask the screen as if your visor is down.

It's a visor, not a welding mask. It's like wearing sunglasses... it's not going to make the sun a perfect white dot. It may cut down the glare a little and protect your vision from damaging radiation, but it's not going to remove glare.

I will just add my +1 to this, I think the helmet visor effect would add more depth to this great sim.

I was working already on "something similar" -

I got a working Visor already in the 32bit version of DCS...

This seems to be the only robust workaround until EagleDynamics implement this.
