toby23 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Start the quick start mission, you'll see it straight away... I'm using a mix of my own and Ricardo's textures but they're not making this happen, I checked. Thanks Ryzen 5800X, 32GB RAM, RTX 3060
Mikoyan89 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 The HUD control panel does not reflect light like the other parts around it. It always stands out as very light grey and overexposed when the sun is behind you. It would be great if this was fixed. Thanks PS these shots are stock, no ENB mod. I find this a bit annoying , but i don't think is going to be fixed http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=55585 YouTube Blog
enigma6584 Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Nate--IRL--, Not really convinced this is a bug but if ED could take a look at the spotting characteristics of the AI wingmen. I was play testing a mission I'm making last night and noticed they can see from very far out while flying on my wing. The whole point of this mission I'm making is to "hunt" the hidden enemy vehicles and infantry and when my wingman was calling out everything from several kilometers away it kind of got frustrating. Maybe make them not so good?:)

Do I have an error? Is it a bug? Greetings. In the Ka-50 you can only select inner or outer pylons. You can't select one pylon at a time so uneven payloads don't work very well. Always remember. GGTharos Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 To add to what Jona33 said: This is not a bug. This is a limitation of the (RL) fire control system of the Ka-50. MiG-29A, Su-25/27 have the same problem in RL (fixed in modern versions no doubt). Good. If over 6 Vikhr a pylon and a Kh-25 on the other, in flight I can not select Vikhr until launched the Ka-25. Pit_Toyuwo Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 The ai is pretty dumb right now, they go fly over the target zones when sent to attack a target and get killed pretty fast. For instance I send a datalink to my wingman, I tell him to go attack the datalink target (with or without ingress point), and he goes fly over it WITHOUT engaging. When he actually survives he rejoins. When I tell him vague orders such as attack movers, he seems to work more decently... when he can spot anything. This is my MAIN gripe.

On another topic, I have always dreamed with decoupling rudder control from trimming. I know it's not very realistic, but since our plastic rudders doesn't have any FFB control to recenter the pedals either, I can live with this realism concession. It'd help a lot to not hate the trimming system. I know it can be considered as "feature", but it's been working on? as an option or whatever? Regards! 1
Cowboy10uk Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Please don't take this as a complaint, it is just a question, But am I right in assuming that now you have released BS2, that unless we pay for that upgrade, those of us who are flying BS 1.02 will NOT see a patch to fix these issues. I'm not asking about a10 compatability or even an upgrade to the graphics, but simply asking will I be able to get my original BS bugs fixed as requested. Cowboy10uk Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 (edited) Bummer, Thanks for the quick answer Nate, I was worried that would be the case. Sadly I have to turn off most of the high graphics including dynamic shadows to be able to fly with decent fps in a10 as it is. Apart from the bug fixes which we were expecting for 1.02 ( which havnt been confirmed as fixed yet anyway ) and a10 compatability, ( which is tempting ) I'm not sure what benefit I will get by upgrading, as I guess I will have to turn off most of the upgraded graphics to fly. Mmmmm think it's time to sweet talk the wife into a new upgrade :) P.S. Please don't take this as a dig, I love the fact you guys are providing new content and the moment I get a pc that will make use of it, I will upgrade. Nate--IRL-- Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 OK well one area that I personally spend weeks on was testing the AI. This is much much improved over the suicidal wingmen in BS1. Cowboy10uk Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Hi Nate, to be honest, I only really have 2 and only one of those is a game stopper for me, which is the multi monitor nvg bug that I mentioned months ago, I appreciate you did state that although it's not working right, you guys have managed to get it working so those of us with multi monitor can fly nvg. The other is a sound issue, where after engine 1 starts, when u start engine 2 the sound stops. On a positive note, my wonderful wife has given me permission to buy the upgrade, while I'm not convinced I will get the graphical benefits from it, due to my pc not being able to run the cockpit shadows and high graphics, I am hoping that the bug fixes will more Han make up for it. I appreciate you have said there are quite a few. Download will be done in 4 hrs so fingers crossed I'll be flying before bed :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Fighter pilots make movies, Attack pilots make history, Helicopter pilots make heros. :pilotfly: Corsair 570x Crystal Case, Intel 8700K O/clocked to 4.8ghz, 32GB Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3200 MHZ Ram, 2 x 1TB M2 drives, 2 x 4TB Hard Drives, Nvidia EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW, Maximus x Hero MB, H150i Cooler, 6 x Corsair LL120 RGB Fans And a bloody awful Pilot
