Tailgate Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Good thing the guy tried it once before, or he would have never got it started by randomly clicking buttons, lol.
Newt Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Hahaha, that made my morning... I was close to shouting at my monitor as I repeatedly watched the cursor glide past the exact switch that they wanted... :) Live every week like it's Shark Week. :D

Sov13t Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I had the urge to poke the monitor to move the right switches for them.... The one guy worrying about getting strafed while they are fiddling around made me lol as well... Agiel7 Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) I do love how impressed they were by the GAU-8. Though personally the thing that bugged me most was how they couldn't set the TGP to SOI (the first time because they forgot to turn it on, the second because they failed to see it had an A-G mode). And amazing they still managed to take off using the taxi-way :pilotfly: Edited January 6, 2012 by Agiel7
slug88 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Great stuff! Always been a Giant Bomb fan, but never thought I'd see them doing a Quick Look on this! And given how hilarious and fun it turned out, I'm pleased that, in their own way, they did it justice. I think the free advertising that ED just got from GB is the type that can go a long way in today's gaming culture. It's really heartening to see the amount of mainstream exposure this sim is getting. Can't wait to see how this trend pans out for ED and for the DCS line in the years ahead. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

slug88 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Nah, they were playing with a joystick. They mentioned it once or twice. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Frostiken Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Oh my god, that as aggravating... No TrackIR, a joystick from 1997, and a Mac keyboard? :D I was patient up until the whole TPod fiasco, and how they kept thinking the Maverick was the target pod and never noticed that it said "TGP OFF"... Arguing over where the runway was, only to all agree that the taxiway was the runway... The exploding A-10 on the ramp was the best part though. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
