So , after upgrading DCS:world, can I remove the stand-alone a-10C ?

 

Yes, if you want to work with a beta product. You will not be able to fly online with folks running A-10C v1.1.1.1. The version of A-10C for DCS world is not a released product.

Im pretty sure the other a/c are multiplayer capable in world now...but Im on my way out the door to work and I cant verify that, soo......................................................

Cheers. Maybe ED should give it its own place in the Downloads section -- it wasn't intuitive to go looking for it under P51D.

If 1.1.1.1 already installed, how can I upgrade to my DCS WORLD module?

 

Am I supposed to install 1.1.2.1.exe only...?

Download the 4 DCS:World install files from HERE.

 

Download the A-10C module from HERE.

 

Then install DCS:World followed by the A-10C module. You can then uninstall A-10C 1.1.1.1 if you wish.

Step 1:

Install DCS:World

Step 2:

Download and install A10C_1.1.2.1.exe from the link give in the OP

 

Your 1.1.1.1 will remain a separate install until you decide to remove it

Appreciate it. Thanks. Note, not all bugs will be fixed, but we will record/catalogue them at the very least. Short Tracks are always helpful when reporting - but I'm sure you knew that already ;) .

Don't import your input settings from 1.1.1.1. Several things have changed including new commands that may be broken if you do.

 

Sorry but..

 

If I have already done :doh:, to get it back, would only have to delete the folder A-10C Input right?

 

Re-open the simulator, do a manual configuration, and would create a new folder..

I'm now downloading all the required files!

 

First I install DCS world files 1.1.2.1.

Then I install the open beta of A-10C module for DCS: World

 

I think that's right. But must I first deinstall the running installation of the A-10C or can I install both version parallel in my harddisk?

TM HOTAS profiles for 1.1.2.1 beta

 

I read in this thread that I shouldn't import my Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS stick and throttle profiles from 1.1.1.1. True? If so, does anyone have profiles for the new 1.1.2.1.?

Unless you count it using an activation a bother. My activation count went down by one when I activated the Beta A-10C.
