PeterP Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) No! - sorry - you are wrong ! The Flight-model of the Su-25 is one of the best DCS has to offer! (I think its more enjoyable as the A-10 . Its doesn't feels like flying on tracks... You really have to care what flightpath you take.) Sorry again, but: You are maybe just using the wrong tools for the job. Everything is working fine at my end - and I have 7(!) controllers attached and configured at the same time. Why you are having so much problems with only one?! - just curious. winz Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I've no problem flying/landing/operating the Su-25T, are you sure the sim is the thing that's FUBAR? The Valley A-10C Version Revanche for FC 3
Nate--IRL-- Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I'm giving up. Su-25T sim just isn't a finished article. The plane is impossible to land, the autopilot function don't work for shit and the stick response is crazy. Maybe one day it'll be finished and I'll buy it then but at present it's an unplayable POS. Give it more time - try a deadzone of 7 and a curvature of 30 for the X and Y axis. Also note which AP mode you are engaging - there are many. It doesn't hurt to RTFM too. Lots of good info in there. HiJack Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Hey, I know some very capable keyboard fliers. So don't scoff. Nate Thats fine but he had not mentioned that in his info ever. And as far as I'm consern the XBOX controller is the problem and not the Su-25T. (HJ)

Absolute rubbish:megalol: Just for giggles, post a track and we can tell you what you are doing wrong. If you have a problem, ask and we'll help you. If you cannot even land then you only have yourself to blame. Do yourself and the airframe a favour and think before you moan......Trust me when I tell you that the Su-25T is fine as it is ;) Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? PeterP Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) and the rear wheels snap off whenever it lands at any speed. Try not "any speed" - try to stay below 200 km/h when touching down and not a greater decent than 3 m/s. - this will make a lot of difference to the gears. Edited July 18, 2012 by PeterP

159th_Viper Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Deploy under 180km/hr only IIRC. Nate Anything under 300km/h with throttle at Idle. Try not "any speed" - try to stay below 200 km/h when touching down and not a greater decent than 3 m/s. - this will make a lot of difference to the gears. Ideally you should cross the threshold at 250km/h, 290km/h if you are heavy. As regards the approach, rely on the Glide Slope Error circle and the Director circle for your altitude and descent rate parameters - they'll keep you right. Nate Nate, I'm really not sure if you are up for the task ... Think about your school-holidays... Will you look after him and clean up while your friend are in the summer-camp?! See - think about it ... This is a great responsibility... And you cant just give it away or let it drop on the floor like the other toys you had... You will have to learn what it means to "take care" for someone... :smilewink: Edited July 18, 2012 by PeterP
