My mistake then, I had only glanced at the German skins in Photoshop and not on the aircraft.

As I understand it by color RLM no single authoritative source. And still being debated. After transfer to the RGB and the game engine to talk about authentic display ...))

Maler lovely skin! In my opinion you got the RLM colours absolutely spot on in the DCS engine. :thumbup:

 

Any more skins to come with the next update? ;) Also, please add the _s versions, too, it's very much appreciated...

Dora wing to fuselage faring minor modelling issue... (Might be me but it looks a bit off at the moment).

Well that would constitute a modification that ED is not liable for because it is not covered by the EULA. Nobody can keep you from applying all sorts of (in some jurisdictions, illegal) modifications to your install.

You can circle the place where you think a mistake? Not entirely clear. Photos on the D-11 yellow 10 if I'm not mistaken.

I post this already but thought I should re-post here hopping some one could shed some light on my Radiator confusion.

I think the rads are automatic.When I first got the dora I used rads manually.Now I don't adjust them at all because I have noticed they open and close by them self's.I have not blown a motor yet!

my oil temp does get a little high but all with in limits,coolant seems always fine.

So I have googled and googled but can not get any info at all on the Rads being auto or manual ,the DCS manual dose not help either.

May want to open a separate thread if you don't get a response. I've got some questions about the radiator also because I've blown alot of engines using it and not using it. Sometimes I've had failures when the temps were well under 100 and wonder if that is because I was using MW50 (didn't exceed 5 minutes) with the temperature to low. I've also had engines die when circle climbing above an enemy with the radiator open because I've had it die both ways doing that maneuver .

They are automated, but lets similar to the Mustang, you have to give them a chance to keep up with you, slamming the throttle wide open and back again, could cause them to get outta sync just enough to cause you problems... I have noticed this a lot with air starts....

Thanks for the reply SiTh.I thought that was case and as I am pretty smooth on the throttle is the reason why I am not blowing the engine.But when I first flew the dora and tried to manage manual Rad's I was constantly getting her to hot or to cold and damaging the engine that way.

 

Now what I really want to find out is,if I adjust the Rad's manually in flight ,how do I make it go back to auto mode or does auto mode kick in even after manual adjustment.

I may have to try test this out tonight.

One thing I never do is use full throttle for too long,even with out MW50. I don't push here over 30 for too long maybe ten min at most.If I use MW50 it will be in very small amounts and if she gets a little hot I will cut engine back to 30 or 28.This is all using auto Rad's.

I dont know for sure, this is just a guess, but I would assume there isnt an override for the auto rad flaps, and the manual operation is there mostly for operation when the automation is damaged, but its a guess as I said, maybe someone else knows....
