Yes. This means that groups can be dynamically added to a mission after it has started via scripting and that respawning groups is now a possibility.

Size change is caused by all installers going multilingual.

 

Hey c0ff, does this mean that we are installing the version for each language or is this just the installer and then we would instal the version in the language we want?

 

Sounds like it would be a waste of space to instal a version of each module in multiple languages, specially for those with small SSD's, I'm just curious since i can't download it for another 7 hours.

4-step workaround for 404 error:

 

0. Make sure you get a 404 error

1. Replace the contents of your C:\Users\<YOUR LOGIN>\DCS\Config\autoupdate.settings file with:

 "last_update": 0,
 "update_to": "release"
}

2. Update (it will work)

3. DELETE the autoupdate.settings file.

Most people use autoupdater. This is a different server. Most likely this server is currently under a very heavy load; especially with all the europeans coming home from work and starting their autoupdate almost simultaneously.

Downloading updates with auto patcher ... 14 kB/s on my 120 mbit line :-( Guess the servers are a bit overloaded. Can I download the new patch from torrent as the Huey module ? I didn't notice any torrent link for the patch as it used to be ... guess since the auto patcher is used the torrents are no longer available,huh ?

 

edit : nevermind - got it - its under dcs world, not under patches where I was expecting it to be, doh

 

edit2 : yeah the torrent looks much better. looks like it will be home in under 30 minutes - thanks for seeding guys. I guess I will have to reinstall dcs:w since its a full install but its still better than waiting several hours for the auto patcher to finish

well, I've been on the road for 2 hours, just got to office, and of course, I turned my systems in my house off before I left So i cant even remote desktop to start the download, lol

(construction on street, turned off systems because of a shi-ton of heavy vibrations)

 

So I guess in about 8.5 hrs when I get off +2 more for the trip, The AutoUpdate should be live and the sever less congested.

The server are just being overloaded and alot of people are downloading at the same time causing a lower distribution of the bandwidth. Hopefully it will go up in time. Anyone who has 1.2.4/UH-1H, Enjoy flying and don't crash too much!

Use the torrent links, getting 4.3 Mbps down. All modules beside world done after 15 mins.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but is there a reason why we cant download the update file by torrent instead of having to either do an auto-update or download the whole world and modules?
