At least you guys that that have an appreciation for Russian craft have a flyable carrier based aircraft... I love doing carrier traps, hate doing them in the SU-33.

ive seen a few posts with people saying that they would pay more $$$ if they released it as another module. dont put ideas in peoples heads.. i would rather save my dosh for a multirole fighter like su30, eurofighter or f18 anyway. :pilotfly:

Maybe the harder is the AFM, but after they have the Su-27S, the Su-33 extras should not be too much work for ED

so with that beautiful new Su-27 model he made most part of the Su-33 too - and same with the cockpit

probably he will change some Su-27 parts in 3DS Max and Su-33 will be ready

he and ED can't do everything at same time, so i think we need to wait

 

dont forget guys only missing from FC3:

MiG-29 model(s) and 3D-6DOF cockpit(s)

I am not sure we eill get any answers. Ed has been burnt in the fast by premature promises. But considering the next module is dcs f18....they will improve carrier ops and ship physics. So then, we may get a su33 update. Most likely after it.

YES as for Mig-29.

 

DLC is fine as for an upgrade for the SU-25T cockpit.

All I see are requests for:

- updates to Mig29

- updates to Su-33

- tank simulator

- the next helicopter

- the next WWII plane

 

I would like all these things as well, but when exactly does everyone think DCS F-18 will be released if ED are busy doing all these things? I realize there are things that can be done in parallel, but surely not everything can be. Of course we all have our own preferences, and there is nothing wrong with that. Me, I want new terrain and a DCS modern jet. I want it before I have arthritis from old age and can't play flight sims anymore.

 

Make DCS stable in MP, fix most bugs and move on please. Again, just my opinion. Of course 3rd parties will go a long way to help us all getting something we want.

With any product I believe it is a high priority to fix the BUGS. there are many bugs with the Su-33 and the SU-33's home of the Kuznetsov.

 

I don't care if the Su-33 is graphically challenged. after all I find myself in the cockpit most of the time flying in formation at a decent spacing it doesn't bother me.

 

what bothers me is after flying an extended mission 2-3 hours or so, only to return make a 'trap' and BOOM the su-33 sinks below the deck into the water.

 

what bothers me is my team mates bobbing up and down like a children's carousel ride.

I was flying the 33 this morning and yea, it is in desperate need of some TLC.

 

Also, In A2G mode, I am finding the autorelease-bomb-pipper-diamond on the HUD once the trigger is squeezed and held seems to fall waaaay short of the actual location I had the pipper at when I held down the trigger......
