Blooze Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Is there a command for this? If you find yourself in a hanger with doors that won't open it's either a bug or error in the mission. Try another available slot position as an option. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Witchking Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 How would you set it in the mission editor to start in a hangar and have doors open automatically on start? I imagine it is possible as ED stock missions have this happening. 1 WHISPR | Intel I7 5930K | Nvidia GTX980 4GB GDDR5 | 16GB DDR4 | Intel 730 series 512GB SSD | Thrustmaster WARTHOG | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR4 pro | |A-10C|BS2 |CA|P-51 MUSTANG|UH-1H HUEY|MI-8 MTV2 |FC3|F5E|M2000C|AJS-37|FW190|BF 109K|Mig21|A-10:SSC,EWC|L-39|NEVADA|
cichlidfan Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 How would you set it in the mission editor to start in a hangar and have doors open automatically on start? I imagine it is possible as ED stock missions have this happening. When you setup a ramp start you select a parking space. If that space is a hardened shelter then the doors will be closed until you unpause/start the mission. The doors will open immediately when a player spawns into the aircraft if a mission is running. 1 ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! schkorpio Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 aww I was hoping that someone would say they had a button to open the doors from the outside. Oh well i guess it doesnt make sense to go in forwards anyway. Actually now what would be cool is if a little tow truck (or whatever they are called) would take you back in. I could easily be wrong but I am inclined to think that there would not, or rarely, be a pilot in the aircraft in that situation. Eusebius Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Maybe it doesn't make sense to enter a bunker at the end of a mission, but the wingman does (with the gates opening automatically for him), so I agree that it's a bit frustrating :-)
Snoopy Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 (edited) The normal ops would be to taxi and park In front of the HAS and shut down. Crew chiefs would then hook up the tow bar and Coleman to push the jet back into the HAS. During combat 99% of the time the pilot rides brakes, peace time a crew chief would. Devrim Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 In previous versions (sometimes) when I entered a MP mission and selected slot (for example A-10C), the hangar door wasn't opened. So, I thought there was a command to make it. And when opened I was surprised about how that happened... I think it was a bug - and I'm not sure it's fixed or not today's versions... Snoopy Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I think it was a bug - and I'm not sure it's fixed or not today's versions... Nope, still happens from time to time. I change slots and then it'll work (most times). v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website
