It would be great to have once a year release called for example 1.2.5 BF (bug free)

A completely bug free version is practically impossible to produce when it comes to any software. I'm sure ED is trying, as all software developers do, and you can get close but never actually get there.

 

I'm sure most people would be happy with fixing the major stuff though but I don't see the need for a once a year exclusive patch for this.

I hope Mig-21Bis will help make up some ground soon, but yeah I notice the same thing also. I think there are some former ED heads at Belsimtek that may be well versed in the process and the code that can contribute to a faster turnout.

 

Funny how these threads every week start off with speculation on what will be announced than transition to complaining about whatever is announced. I'm surprised the announcements continue since all it leads to is complaining every week.

 

There some complainers yes, but I do believe the majority are grateful and do express it. It would be a dead forum and hardly any decent feedback for ED to react to, if there were no expressions or questions of the product. I believe this is why the Wagman visits these forums often.

+1 DCS is very complex and has to grow with new features and modules to keep it fresh and attractive to new potential customers. With new features and modules the more complexity and that's right, more bugs.
