Agg Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Looks great - will download and test it when I get home :)
Valinor Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 When i try to download it, i just get sent back on the main DCS page, it doesn't happen with other files. Maybe it's not yet on the server?
Valinor Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Nothing still here. Any chance you can upload it somewhere else as well, just in case? Otherwise i'll wait some hours.
Valinor Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I know the link, it just isn't working for me still. I'll wait later on, no worries.
Nakano Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Hello. I would really like to get my hands on that spectacular mod but download link is broken. :( Could someone post a working link to version 1.1? Thanks
Lodo Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Is the update online? I can't download it, it's a 0 Bytes File. Pilots do not die, they fly a little higher :pilotfly:
Ells228 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Wow, looks great. What's it like low down and dirty in the Shark?
toby23 Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) How low do you want to go? The effect works from about 200 feet and up (see screenshots on page one) Below that, I recommend grass clutter and a decent noise_small file. You can use the attached one. Drag and drop it onto your LandTextures.zip file here -> C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Terrain\vfstexturesnoise_small.bmp.dds.zip Edited September 10, 2013 by toby23 1 Ryzen 5800X, 32GB RAM, RTX 3060

jay43 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Ditto awesome there I was flying around in the Huey thinking the scenery is looking a bit dated now and a bit plastic and fake looking. And now this truly awesome dude love it I am seeing things and colours as they should be even without running the SweetFX it looks heaps better I downloaded the SweetFX but have no idea where it goes I will get someone to walk me through that on TS from our squad. toby23 Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 Thanks Jay, You need to download Sweet FX from here. Then unzip the files to the BIN folder in the DCS World folder. When you've done that, copy my Sweet FX Settings to the BIN folder and overwrite the original. It's an easy to use and very stable add-on for post effects processing. Good luck! aceviper Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 (edited) Downloaded your updated ver 1.1 and now have no textures..another repair coming up.Should have stuck with ver 1.0. Edit...after deleting and replacing said files back working again...Thanks Toby Edited September 11, 2013 by aceviper
toby23 Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 @aceviper - how could you have no textures if all you did is copy four textures to four different zipped folders? Copying textures to a folder won't remove textures. Please note that this mod is not JSGME compatible. As mentioned in the READ ME FIRST, you need to manually install these textures. Good luck. Geert Hooghe Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Hi everyone...the installing of the mod is not so difficult for me...did it right ! Now, i'm trying to understand SWEET FX. I read that it doesn't support 64-bit games yet. OK ! I find my DCS-folder under programfiles in 32 bit...my computer has a 64-bit tech and it seems that DCS is a 64-bit games installed under 32 bit program files-folder. It is a bit confusing because I don't get the really green landscape i see everywhere...ok...i see a difference and it looks very nice...i feel i'm not there yet ! Somebody has a torch to light the pad ? :-) Thnx
toby23 Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 You will need the Sweet FX 64 bit files from HERE. Geert post a screenshot of what you see now and what you see when you've got Sweet FX working! Ryzen 5800X, 32GB RAM, RTX 3060
Geert Hooghe Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 OK...now at work...do it tonight and post a screenshot pre en post...thnx Toby
aceviper Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 (edited) I had ver 1.0 working...copied ver1.1 to same relevant folders but something happened that left me with wierd severely blurred textures..will try later again. Edited September 11, 2013 by aceviper
Maxzouz Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 I'm already using DTAC from rockwelder. Can someone tell me which one's better ? Higher definition tiles ?
