todd022 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Oh. Looks more like the pilot sneazed on the inside of the windshield. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
upupandaway Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Can you also see them when the sun is shining? It´s gotta be a new version of canopy scratches. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Deedle, deedle!
Devrim Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I saw it in Huey too. But I didn't set screen resolution. I thought I see it caused by bad resolution. No way, it can't be rain or something, unfortunately. :( Intel i7-14700@5.6GHz | MSI RTX4080 SuperSuprimX | Corsair V. 64GB@6400MHz. | Samsung 1TB 990 PRO SSD (Win10Homex64) Samsung G5 32" + Samsung 18" + 2x8"TFT Displays | TM Warthog Stick w/AVA Base | VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle | TM MFD Cougars | Logitech G13, G230, G510, PZ55 & Farming Sim Panel | TIR5 & M.Quest3 VR >>MY MODS<< | Discord: Devrim#1068

Blaze Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 It's the scratches that haven't been mapped properly to that pane of glass. Devrim Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 In my opinion there's a problem (bug) with it. Because I see these ugly and bad look scratches since v1.2.6 - didn't see before. AAAAH! number3 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Speaking of rain. When a helicopter is running and it rains, do the rain droplets hit the canopy and obscure vision? The KA-50 and UH-1H have wiper blades, the former has working blades. But I'm wondering if rain droplets just aren't modeled hitting the canopy or while the rotor is spinning the droplets don't touch the glass. 314-я смешанная авиационная дивизия 314th Mixed Aviation Division: The "Fighting Lemmings"- Forums: http://314thsquadron.enjin.com/ - ED Forum Group: http://forums.eagle.ru/group.php?groupid=119

But I'm wondering if rain droplets just aren't modeled hitting the canopy or while the rotor is spinning the droplets don't touch the glass. It depends on the air speed and amount of water. Usually it's worst in low speed flight, after 30 or 40 knots the water just start to run along the fuselage/windshield. I've flown a lot in rain and usually I don't have the necessity for wipers, only if it's raining a lot. I had much more problems with frost/mist in the windshield than rain. Regards.
