Hello Ryan ;)

WOW, your work is incredible, the new wheel is perfect and I really like this hand dirt just under the Rescue, it's perfect :worthy:

For me I can wait because I feel that your final work will be incredible and perfect to fly with the cockpit of Ricardo

Work well and thank for this last news, best regards, Skull.

The red witness marker you have on the wheel would also extend onto the same area of rubber . Its to see if the tyres are rotating on the rims .

Hope this helps . But the area is normally about 1 inch in length .

Be nice if we could have weighted wheels too .

I guess sometimes it's overlooked completely? Here's an A-10C tire...

Spot wash? I don't think so, not these birds. They were rode hard and put away wet. They were from Davis Monthan.

I dare anyone say my weathering is too extreme....look at these examples

I can't believe a crew chief let his jet be on static display and didn't spot wash her first. Just goes to show many don't have pride in their aircraft anymore. Hell, I use to wipe down the tires before and after every flight.

Curious, where were the jets from?

That witness mark could aslo be on the inboard side as its a single wheel assy , or possibily its only a civilian thing ?

I totally agree with you about presentation Paulrkiii ..... some people with my job are just plain messy (structures sheet metal 30 years) .

If you take the time to do a good job , it should also look good , and clean .

Ryan,

I'm very curious concerning the real dirty A-10C, please can you published the other photos of this A-10C because it's the first time that I can see one A-10C also dirty...

For the American guys, is it normal to have one jet also dirty in the real life (during war or peace) ?

Thanks again, Skull.

Sorry, I'm not going to post any more pics of the real A-10 until I make more progress on the sim. Maybe after.

Hello Ryan,

Thanks for your answer, good work on these incredible textures...

Best regards, Skull.

Excellent work so far, Ryan! Will you also release the weathering layers, so that we can include them in our own skins? ( with credits given of course ) That would be awesome! :)

I've been flying helicopters in real life for 4 years now, and I can tell you that there are those who care about the machine and those who don't give a #%$".

Treat the machine well so the machine treats you well too. If one don't mind about caring the machines (car/plane/bike/helicopter) the wear will be higher with time.

You look at an aircraft, and how it's maintained and you can take the conclusions about it's caregiver. :P

Sorry for the off topic, nevertheless a great paint work. :) Thank you.

When the time comes, I will probably release two versions. One is the weathered fictional Marine Corps skin, and the second will be just the weathered Photoshop layers so people can apply the weathering with their own insignia.
