Remember, it is buried inside of DCS World as DLC. It won't be listed in your library.

Ooooooooooooooooooh okay- well I'll own that mistake. I went in there- saw the DCSW had a "cd key" and wasn't sure about why... since it's free. But yes, when I went in there the A-10A was in there.

Bought my last missing piece: Black Shark 2. Now I'm the proud owner of all DLC's, including Flaming Cliffs 3 :pilotfly:

 

Played the original shark for hours, fired BS2 up and is still my favorite... Now with all the modules in my possession there's just one thing left; find some spare time :D

Here's hoping the Mi-8 goes on sale very soon. Whilst I don't doubt the quality of the bird, I purchased BF4 for $50...thats a whole game, not a chopper. Its the only one I don't have.

the other thing, you will play BF-4 for about 1 year...maybe 2 years...but the Mi-8 much much longer!!! :pilotfly:

Dude that sucks for you. I got BF4 for $20 last night. They had the 50% off sale last night and I found a $10 off coupon online. Enjoying it now :)

yeah guys...the ref to BF4 is just an example but it shows you what I can get for around $50 ...another good example is PREPAR3D v2...I bought the huey when it came out but haven't played it for a few months.

I don't think you can compare games like Battlefield/Call of Duty etc. with DCS products. I play Battlefield ever since BF1942, and looooooots of other games, but those games are just not comparable with DCS.

 

The DCS devs probably have to put the same, maybe even more effort into building a DCS title a la A-10C Warthog, than that DICE has to put into the production of BF 4. IMHO that rectifies the (what some people find steep) prices, and IMHO those prices aren't steep at all. That $50 is a lot of money, of course, but it's more than worth it.

 

If $50 is too much for you, no problem, nobody will resent you. Just wait for the DCS product to go into sale and then buy it.

I think what people are getting at is that you are not even paying for a finished game. Also, you have to remember that this chopper would have gone on sale, but for some people moaning that they had paid full price, like they did for the Heuy. I paid full price for A10C and a week later it came on sale, but I didn't moan about it. Can you imagine all the clothes stores been inundated with people moaning, because one week a pair of jeans was full price and the next they were on sale? I feel the people that have moaned have done themselves no favors when it comes to helping with development. A sale is normally done to bring in more money towards development, but most people will now wait until this chopper goes on sale now.

yeah I too got burnt on the pricing with the Huey which is why I'm waiting for this to drop.
