Kind of surprised on how little was mentioned about the Helo updates/bugfixes (including the Ka-50). Lots to be done on all. Hope more will be included. Really happy about the attention to networking however. That is a big problem.

Yea I know its preliminary.

I was in Art of the Kill D#@ it!!!!

IIRC when we got a preliminary change log for 1.2.6 there was no mention of the DCS: MI-8MTV2 being readied for purchase. It wasn't until the announcement of the release for the update when it was made available. The same may hold true for the F-15C:: DCS Flaming Cliffs. I hope the Su-27s will arrive at the same time although there has been no word on this module at all.

I LOVE that this was at the very top of the list. I'm REALLY looking forward to being able to contribute more to making problem identification more efficient. Thank you!

The Devs felt it was a important feature, I whole heartily agree.... to be able to play back a crash, and reproduce it that way, or have a chance to is huge in the bug hunting game...

Oh and guys, before you go on and on about this isnt there or that isnt there... remember:

I'm sure there was a lot of work going on to address a lot of the multiplayer issues. Is it safe to say that this is part of overhauling the code in base of DCSW?

It looks like th A-10C gets ALQ-184 now too? From quick reading aircraft never carry both, but then which for what occassion. Being so top secret is there even an in game difference?

The F-15C is still getting put through its paces, building AFMs aint like dusting crops boy! ;)

I only know what Wags says in public :)

Ok ok. Fair enough answer. It's really good to know we are getting close to another update. That's the bottom line and the list looks pretty good also.

I know that there's been some work on the uh-1h regarding some fixes during transition in ETL, as well incorporation of the throttle and idle detent for engine starts, improved modeling of the engine and EGT, torque relation, correct indications and modeling of the electrical system, reduction in main rotor imbalance vibes during startup, and the list goes on... Any news on any if this stuff being incorporated into 1.2.7?

Woo hoo to everything on that list!

I can't believe how many people are complaining..... Progress is progress. We all want everything to be finished yesterday, patience my friends ;)

A large list of some very welcome fixes and improvements, especially some of the older issues.

Looking forward to seeing how the engine smoke mod works out.

I was really hoping that the changes/ improvements for ATC that were first mentioned around 1.2.4 (I think) would have finally made it into this update release. I hope they still do.

Also very surprised at the almost complete lack of changes (so far) for the MI-8 and Huey, especially so given they are still in Beta.

As the mans said - "preliminary"

Thanks for the heads up.

"ECM effectiveness against air defense systems has been significantly increased."

"Reworked the Dynamic Launch Zone (DLZ) of SAMs. It will now take to account the target’s data instead of the earlier fixed zone."

Wohoooo....

Looking forward to the patch, hopefully it will be before christmas :)
