At least it gives you something to do while waiting for the page to load. ED is really slow right now.

Gentlemen ...

After one thousand or so bulbs it suddenly occured to me: stars? night? space? or snow storm?

Seriously?

IT IS THE OCEAN!

It's like one of these pictures where you at one moment can see an old woman looking at you, and if you stare at it, it suddenly changes to a young girl looking into the other direction ... once you realize it is the ocean, you can not make it unseen ... :o)

Luckily they are snapped at the top of the page, and similar to some annoying scripts they're not moving with the page when rolling down. :)

Good Grief!

I thought I broke something,

logged on to the site and was looking at the bottom of the screen and I hear all this glass breaking.

Didn't know the flash header was active. You can break all the Christmas lights. Cool!

Should have know that a breaking monitor doesn't sound like that.

By the way, Happy New Year!

Too bad they don't have a counter so that they can see how many (and costly) bulbs have been wasted by errant mouse movements.

Love smashing those light bulbs :-)

Happy new year everyone, since Flanker 1 I have been a supporter of the Fighter Collection and Eagle Dynamics. Love the new business model and quality of their wonderful programming. Thank you and now I am off to smash some more light bulbs :-)

Think of it like some hunger management therapy. While one is smashing the light bulbs, isn't arguing or asking for F-15C/Su-27S AFM / Su-25T cockpit / whatever... until the team is off holidays. :)

Take control over what scripts are executed in your browser. This is as good a chance as any to start doing that (and you really should start doing that).

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

Been there, done that - and still do. I've been using NoScript & Adblock Plus for ages, and only allow selected sites to run any scripts at all. But yeah, gotta get more specific about their config it seems... well unless the bulbs happen to automagically disappear one day, now that we've passed chrimbo & newyear again ;)

Meanwhile, just gotta avoid the mofos like plague 'cuz I'm a lazy barstage as it comes to tweaking anything... well apart from DCS maybe :)

...

Well, it's New Year and then Christmas in Russia (and here in Serbia, too).

It's actually New Year proper, then Christmas and then the Old New Year (Julian calendar) which falls on the 14th of January (Старый Новый год, Српска Нова Година). So we have two New Year days - one more occasion and reason to pass out from drinking :D

Sorry, you're of course both right Sobek & Danilop, some more suffering to endure still... hey, maybe they're gone by February at the latest then ;)

He's talking about the browser itself, not the operating system.

This is probably the last I'll visit this site until the end of the month as I am tired of hearing those damn bulbs breaking whenever I go to/close a new tab.
