Echelon was started by passionate aviation and flight sim enthusiasts. Since 1993, with the release of the MiG-29 and F/A-18 expansions to Falcon 3.0, we wanted to experience a “digital battlefield” of interconnected, high-quality simulations of various aircraft, helicopters, and vehicles. DCS is on the cusp of making that dream reality. The simulation is one requirement, but we also need a community of passionate, like-minded flight sim enthusiasts to fly with. Thus, Echelon Aero is born.

The 24th "Tempest" is a place for dedicated DCS helicopter pilots and aviation enthusiasts who embrace the principles and procedures of real-world U.S. Army aviation. Our mission is to recreate the challenges and rewards of training and combat, while fostering a community that values learning, collaboration, and creativity.

Founded in august of the great pandamic year 2020, basically as a place to hang out and enjoy your passion, DCS. Most important for us is the human factor, not so much the qualification on a specific module. You can learn how to fly a module, but you can't learn to fit into a team. We fly with real world procedures, but always keep in mind: in the end of the day it's a hobby, not a job. We fly: - F/A-18 "Eagles" - A-10 Thunderbolt "Vultures" - F-16 Demo Team "Vikings"

Our group has been established recently and is still in the formation phase, with a currently small number of members.. From a roleplay perspective, JTF 323 is an independent aviation unit operating under the covert support of the United States and NATO member states. The unit is deployed in conflicts where direct involvement by these nations is politically or strategically unfeasible, enabling discreet yet effective operational engagement.

I am a new pilot to DCS World. I have these gunships: Mi-8, Hind, SA342, and the Apache (when it is available). I have these jets: F/A-18, F-16, F-14, Mig-19, Mig-21, and Flaming Cliffs. GTFO is comprised of a mixture of virtual pilots, some of which have real-world flying experience be that in the commerical space or military environment. We recognize DCS is a big, wide tent with diverse aircraft (and growing more diverse by the day.) This is reflected in our squadrons that support all DCS modules. (If you think you're the only one who loves the Mig 21, trust us, you're not.) GTFO is a group of flight simmers who focus on what we call milsim lite. We take what we think is the good stuff, and leave the lame parts behind. That means the task force's focus is on real-world tactics and strategies, real world procedures (where possible) with our favorite aircraft. And we leave behind the real world stuff that doesn't need to be there. So no e-salutes, pointless deference to rank, or other things that don't make sense to us in a flight sim environment. We support PvE and PvP campaigns across the Cold War and Modern eras, hosted by our talented campaign designers, as well as join public servers to participate in open events. Our task force is run by a council of elected leaders. Everyone has a say in the direction of the task force, with regular meetings for discussion. Have a great idea? Overlord members are encouraged to share it. We strive to be an inclusive, welcoming place where you can get the study level sim fun you want, while feeling a sense of ownership and accountability. 64th "Scorpions" Aggressor Squadron, formed in May, 2019, is a group focused on air to air combat in a competitive PVP setting. Our training program takes the cadets through many stages in order to become proficient with the team's combat tactics. Most of our members are based in the EU or US and our usual flight times are from 1800z to 0400z. When duty calls us from the void, the Wayfarers dispatch the Seraphs to oversee atmospheric conflicts. A bespoke and fully autonomous entity, the Seraphs are tasked with bringing comprehensive stability to further the outstretching goals of The Flotilla.

The No1 RAF is the harrier squadron in CTFA ( Combined Task Force Artemis ). It was resently created after the a10 was fased out, as the primary cas platform for CTFA. Altho low in numbers we have deticated members with a hight skill level. We are always open to people who love the harrier, and have no expectations of new pilots , we can train you from zero to hero ; )

EAF is a virtual squadron born in 1998. We are from all around Europe (but we have some USA pilots also). We fly WWII flight simulations and jets. We started with EAW, IL2-Sturmovik, Cliff of Dover, Battle of Stalingrad and now are flying DCS. Every Monday and Thursday night we meet to role play, fly and reenact historical missions. We are focused on team play, tactics and training. Often we compete in tournaments and campaigns with and against other squads. We are recruiting and training virtual pilots, both green and experienced who want to improve their flying skills, and teamwork in a relaxed and friendly way. No. 80 Wing constitutes two squadrons, No. 66 Squadron "Kestrels", and No. 76 Squadron "Panthers". We are a DCS Realism community in the Oceanic region that emphasises enjoyment through immersion, by utilising an active rank structure and duty assignment. The use of realistic training, doctrine, tactics & tactical procedures (TTPs), radio brevity and the level of research used to build missions/campaigns adds to the level of realism. We operate two public servers in the Oceanic region that enables Player-Versus-Environment-Versus-Player opportunities (something sorely missing in the region). We operate all aircraft modules of DCS, and carry out training and/or a mission weekly. We are always looking for more like-minded individuals to join or participate with us.
